The Law School Admission Test
The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a half-day, standardized exam administered four times each year by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) at designated testing centres throughout the world, but primarily in Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean. Most Canadian law schools along with all American Bar Association (ABA) approved law schools require the LSAT as part of their admissions process.

The LSAT provides a standard measure of acquired reading and verbal reasoning skills that law schools use as a primary factor in assessing applicants. The test itself is comprised of numerous questions designed to assess a wide range of abilities involved in critical thinking, with an emphasis on the skills that are central to legal reasoning. These skills include: the reading and comprehension of complex text with accuracy and insight the organization and management of information and the ability to draw reasonable inferences from it the ability to think critically the analysis and evaluation of the reasoning and arguments of others

The LSAT is scored on a scale of 120 - 180 points. To put the score scale in perspective, the University of Toronto, for example, is looking for a potential candidate to have a score of approximately 168. The University of Victoria would be in the 162 range whereas the University of Ottawa does not require a minimum LSAT score of their applicants. The weight given to the LSAT will vary according to the other elements in each applicant’s file. Limited Class Size
In order to ensure a low student-to-instructor ratio, our LSAT test prep courses have a limited enrollment with spaces allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The small class size provides a comfortable setting with ample opportunity for interaction with our talented and experienced LSAT course instructors.

Free Repeat Policy
All of our LSAT test preparation courses include a no hassle free repeat policy which allows students to repeat the entire course for a second time, free of charge, within one year of their original course start date. Once you have taken any of our LSAT courses, you may repeat that course, free of charge, at any time for any reason within the next 12 months. Some students take advantage of this policy to review and re-attend our test prep course for double the preparation, prior to writing the LSAT, for one low price. In order to ensure a low student-to-instructor ratio, we ask free repeat students to contact us in advance to reserve their place in the upcoming LSAT test prep class. Free repeat students are asked to bring their original course materials and valid ID to class.

Personal LSAT Tutoring Available
For those students who have particular difficulty with any aspect of the LSAT exam, we offer individual tutoring sessions with one of our highly skilled LSAT course instructors. In addition to the extensive home study materials, which every student receives, we also make available (for purchase or loan) additional LSAT practice materials from the Law School Admission Council. All LSAT courses take place 6:00pm - 10:00pm Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm Sunday, and 6:00pm - 10:00pm Thursdays. The Thursday evening classes are optional sessions, free for all registered students, where full-length practice LSAT exams are administered with actual test conditions carefully reproduced. These sessions provide students an excellent opportunity to practice the techniques learned during the weekend course. Course locations & dates are subject to change.
