Achieved unco nditional 'Pass" rating. -Lead management interface with all agencies through the impending sale and transfer of the hospital to the Dade County Health Trust Organization. -- Developed economically viable plan to stabilize the existing plant while p lanning intermediate and long range expense, capital and growth programs related to the impending major expansion of all hospital capabilities and ensuing const ruction. * Assistant Director of Facilities, University of Miami, School of Medicine, Miami, Florida. December 2001 to Oct ober 2005 --- Assure around the clock operational aspects of facilities, maintenance and u tilities requisites for a 32 building, 5.3 million g.s.f. multi-use, multi-site aggressively expanding campus. Operational systems include: --- Low to high p ressure steam, central station h.v.a.c. and refrigeration plants Water purification and distribution systems. Central station medical vacuum, air and med-gas distribution. Emergency power generation, u.p.s. and fire & life safety systems. * Outside Plant Supervisor, Bell South Telecommunications, Miami, Florida January 1992 to June 2001 --- Assure emergency response and planned outside plant construction activ ities of telecommunications networks for buried, aerial and central station faci lities. Worked on landside and water side platforms. * Vice President, Director of Facilities, Miami division of Affiliated Buil ding Services, a Limbach / LINC subsidiary. August 1982 to O ctober 1984 --- ABSM was a multi disciplinary contract maintenance / service organization de dicated to developing then turning over fully functioning maintenance department s. Developed facilities maintenance operations for the Turnberry Isle Resorts, and Macys in Miami Florida and IBM in Boca Raton. * Director of Facilities, Coulter Electronics and Reagents, now Beckman / Coulte r. Hialeah, Florida, January 1980 to June 1982 --- Maintained a multiple location facility comprised of three sites and 36 bui ldings. Managed an in-house staff of 125 clerical, craft and professional perso nnel. Managed all facilities operations including maintenance, utilities, constr uction, machine maintenance and janitorial services. * Manager of Facilities, American Hospital Supply Corporation, Dade division, n ow Baxter, Miami Florida. Decemb er 1976 to December 1979 --- Managed a 250 ac re campus style manufacturing, warehousing facility producing automated medical testing devices and medical reagents. Facilities included stand alone potable w ater and sewage plants, central station chiller and heating plants. Languages Education English and working fluency in Spanish AAS City College New York, Engineering BS Business Administration, FIU Miam i and Barry University.
