GET CONNECT WITH YOUR SOIL…

“Mana Ooru...Mana Padakam”

“Mana Ooru...Mana Padakam”
No matter how far we are, and where we are, our connection with mother land, and bond with our soil
is never going to change. We love recalling days of our childhood, our inheritance, and village that
supported us, and people back home felt proud, when we sailed highs… that is “Mana Ooru”.
We are sure, you might have thought, as to how I can give back to my village, and make a difference
to that village, where I come from. Yes, we are here to share your concerns, carry your dream as our
mission. Here is your lifetime opportunity to do some good, make something, which strengthens your
bond through “Mana Padkam”. We would like to bridge your connections, we would like to be part
of your vision, with all that integrity, transparency as one like-minded. You can choose to adopt your
village, or support a specific need, through a project to change the lives of those, less privileged in your
village.

for drinking water (where there is no access to water), 440 over head tanks, women empowerment
in 1500 villages (turning women as agents of change) , development of 275 government schools
(adopting from remote villages and neglected), organic farming in 25 villages (help weaning from
chemical usage), and caring for 1600 orphans and 15000 widows are some of the core interventions.
Bala Vikasa is also, engaged in capacity building programs to community develop professionals
from over 50 countries across the globe. We are aligning with reputed corporate companies in
implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and in building social enterprises. We
have been inspiration to governments, institutions and stakeholders, in replicating our approaches,
and sustainable development models that we have built.

How you can be part of us ?
Any Individual or group can support an individual project, or any individual, group from same village or neighbouring
villages can come together to adopt a village.

1

Choice 1: Adopt a village to make it a model village
Gangadevipally a model village in Warangal promoted by Bala Vikasa, inspired not only PM Sri. Narendra Modi
while launching Sansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana by Central government, but also Telangana Chief Minister to
launch Gram Jyothi project. The Gangadevipally, promoted by Bala Viakas as a model village, has been trigger in
enthusing many in connecting with integrated, community owned sustainable development models, to replicate.
The experience of Bala Vikasa shows that, the process of building Model villages are not just money, but through
intensive community mobilisation, education and organisation etc. Building these processes are very essential in
sustaining change. This process takes time and consistent efforts. Grounding projects after community building
proved to be highly successful. Therefore, to promote a model village it requires long term vision and commitment
by the supporters and promoters. It should be a step by step community driven development strategy rather than
fund or project driven.

How can you support your village or any other village through adoption ?

Support for human resources (Development Agent) in driving community building process.

Support the development initiatives in a phased manner, also to ensure that community contributes
