Bartholomaei has joined Cozen O’Connor’s Denver office as an associate in the global insurance group. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel, LLP in Pittsburgh, Pa. Bartholomaei has experience handling a range of litigation matters. He has represented international clients in toxic tort, products liability and design defect matters, and has also handled insurance coverage, bad faith, medical malpractice, personal injury, mass tort and class action cases. A graduate of Villanova University (B.A., 1997), Bartholomaei earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D., 2000), where he was an appellate moot court competition finalist. He also studied at the law schools of Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Freiburg, Germany and Université Pierre Mendes France in Grenoble, France. He is fluent in German. Bartholomaei is a member of the Defense Research Institute’s Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, as well as the American, Colorado, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and West Virginia bar associations. He is admitted to practice in Colorado, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
