Is it too early to begin to talk about June? I think not. Two
happenings in June that all will want to be a part of are our Church
Wide Picnic and our Parent/Child dedication Service.
The Church Wide Picnic will be held on Wednesday, June
3rd at the Bainbridge Recreation Pavilion #2. This is the Old Ball
Fields, to you and I. We will have a hot dog/ hamburger supper
followed by fellowship and a softball game or two. As in the years
past you are asked to bring your favorite lawn chair, an awning tent
if you have it, and your comfortable clothes. I am sure it will be hot
outside, but we will be cool in the fellowship of our Lord.
We are also asking for folks with golf carts to have them
available for shuttle from the parking lot to the gathering area. If
you have a “gator” and a trailer we might even have a hayride
shuttle. (Just a thought). Make your plans now to attend.
The second big event of June will be our Parent/Child
dedication service on Father’s Day, June 21. This dedication
service is open to all who would like to participate. Please call the
church office if you would like to participate. I am looking forward
to a sweet service that morning!
Don’t forget, only one morning worship service this
week, at 11AM. We will honor our High School graduates in the
11 AM service. We want to also recognize our College Graduates.
Please call the church off before noon on Thursday if you have or
know of a graduating college student from our congregation.
I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Calling all artists!
Now that the Preschool Hallway has a new coat of paint, we would
like to share our vision with you. We invite artists of all ages in the
church who are members or regular attendees and who are inspired by
Bible verses or stories or God's beautiful creation to share their art on
the hallway. Our intent is to make the preschool hallway a gallery,
ever changing with the seasons, and proclaiming God's glory. There
are a few criteria for donating or loaning work. If you are interested,
please contact the church office.
