SAINTS ALIVE Last week’s ministry concert took us to the Pelham Parkway Nursing Home. The singing was awesome and the reception by the staff and residents was overwhelming. They invited us to come back and plan to feed us a meal when we do. It’s a heartwarming thing to share the love of Christ in song to fellow Christians who may be lonely and forgotten. Next Monday, June 2, we depart promptly at 11:00 AM. Traveling to Colquitt, we’ll enjoy lunch at Café Lele then travel to the Colquitt Alternative Care Home. Following that concert, we will drive to sing at Great Gran’s Care Home north of Donalsonville. Remember to wear your outfits.
CHURCH MUSICIANS NEEDED Please take a moment to complete and return the Music Ministry Service Survey which was sent to known musicians here at FBC. Your faithful participation is needed for our body to perform at its best!
MIGRANT MINISTRY NEEDS HELP To support the farmers and laborers, we have teamed up with state and local teams who also labor to meet the needs of individuals and families. A variety of volunteers provide medical, dental, healthcare, education, translation as well as food and clothing assistance. In addition to hosting a meal for all the volunteers, FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH has provided clothing. Workers, clothing, and cash is needed in order to help all who need it. See the Missions Bulletin Board across from the office for specific detail on how you can help.
FELLOWSHIP CLUB All Senior Adults are invited to be a part of the trip to Atlanta to see the Braves play. See Stacey’s column to the right for details on how you can participate. Art
