UNIVERSItY oF OXFoRD MBA 2014/15

"A year in Oxford will change your life." Stephan Chambers, MBA Programme Director

WHY SHouLD You CoNSIDER aN MBA FRom OXFoRD UNIVERSItY'S SaID BuSINESS SCHooL?
An MBA has never been more necessary. Our world is unprecedentedly complex, connected, and fragile. Our trust in institutions and each other is under intense pressure. Our energy, food and water security, our aging populations, the explosion in stored data – these all require managers and leaders of unusual ability, sophistication and integrity. An MBA should combine both broad insight and deep specialisation. At Saïd Business School, the MBA combines these things in a single year of intensive, immersive, and challenging experiences. In little more than a decade, the Oxford MBA has become recognised as one of the best oneyear programmes in the world. In the 2013 Financial Times’ Global MBA ranking Saïd Business School was ranked 3rd in the UK and 24th in the world. We offer a challenging and thoughtprovoking course delivered by a dedicated faculty of international scholars and practitioners in state-of-the-art facilities at the Saïd Business School. Our MBA class is a diverse mix of extraordinary individuals from dozens of countries and every possible background. A year in Oxford will change your life.

UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD MBA

The beauty of being at Oxford is that because the offering is so varied, it really does help you discover things that truly excite you. Once you combine that with time to reflect, you have an incredible opportunity. This was one of the main reasons I chose Oxford over other top schools. I wanted the full gamut, the chance to hear great thinkers speak, to sit in on lectures across different faculties, to become great friends with Physiology PhDs, Rhodes Scholars reading Medieval Literature, nuclear physicists etc. It’s things like these that create a winning proposition.” Jacqueline Park, Australian, MBA alumna

"The School helped me take the first few steps towards landing an opportunity with a top management consulting firm. Meetings with sector consultants were very useful to get a better understanding of the realities involved with a career in consulting and how best to prepare for interviews. In particular, I benefited from the multiple case interview prep sessions that were organised by the Consulting Oxford Business Alumni team." Ravi Ramachandran, Indian, MBA alumnus
