Medical science is one of the most dreamed professions in our country. A major portion of the parent’s force their children’s towards this profession while some children are desired to be in this profession. It is one of the most profitable professions all over the world as it is related with human life. A total of about 500 medical colleges in India among those 348 are offering MBBS course throughout the country. Southern part of India is leading the country in this field. Karnataka offering 43 medical colleges in which 32 are private and the rest are Govt. institutes. Gujrat offering 22 medical colleges while in Uttar Pradesh there are 27 institutes. West Bengal offering 14 while the state Rajasthan giving 10 medical colleges. The main reason behind low number of medical colleges in the northern part of this country are the weather condition of this region.
