Mike's Telephone Call Mykelti Williamson also known as "Bubba" in Forrest Gump movie shared an experience he had with hell on The Bio channel's show Celebrity Ghost Stories. He begins the program by saying that while living in Los Angeles, California in the early 1980's, that he often went to visit his mother. This was during his period of being a young struggling actor. Anyhow, one time when he stopped to see his mother she came out to greet him and told him in a very direct manner to go back home. The next time that he came to visit her a few days later, she told him the same thing, adding that Mykelti should call her later on and not to talk to anyone - especially his friends, but instead to go directly home. He respected her wishes despite feeling that deep down inside, that something was seriously wrong.

Mykelti received a call from his mother sometime later. She said for him to come and visit her. He did this while remembering on the way there that he felt very nervous along the way. Once there, she told him that his best friend Adrian had been killed by a gun shot from behind, from the hand of his own cousin. And she said that she had seen the spirit of death strongly upon him a few days earlier. Knowing that death was coming for this man, she wished to protect her own son from anything. Each time she told her son, that Adrian asked to asked to speak to Mykelti; that she would tell him that he was not available to talk. Mykelti was really upset at the news of his best friend. They were good friends who often spent much time together. However, Adrian often went out and did many bad deeds at times. Many times Mykelti talked Adrian out of doing these bad acts, as Adrain was often compelled by some spirit to do these wrong deeds, and really had no idea what he did afterwards. The next day Mykelti was with his girlfriend, and they were eating dinner together when they received a collect or chargeable call. The girlfriend answered the call, and the person on the phone clamed to be Adrian. She told Mykelti that Adrian wanted to speak to him. He was upset, thinking that this was some type of prank call that was done in bad taste. Upon answering the phne call he heard his friend shout out to him. He said, "Mike, help

me, as you know how to get me out of this!" Mykelti recognized that voice and knew only a few people called him by that name, because he disliked being called by that name. Adrian spoke again and said, "Help me, they are coming to take me away." He then told Mike that he escaped to call him, and that many were coming back to drag him to a place that sounded a lot like a roaring fire, with screaming people in pain. He wanted Mike to get him out of that place. Adrain was eventually over powered and subdued by whatever entity there.

Myketi said of this experience that he believed in karma or the spiritual principle of sowing what you reap. He also said that he knew his friend died and was in hell, and there was nothing that he could do about it. And that nobody should be afraid of death if they walk in the light of God. The lesson that I personally learned from this was that nothing I ever did to prevent my nephew from being lost was in vain because it from a heart of love. God used this show to reach me. You see, some years ago a nephew of mine who was always on my heart and mind had some minor health problems at first. I told hi that he should consult a doctor about them. Later on, because of these health concerns, he almost was killed in a truck accident. I told him that it was a miracle that he survived that accident, and that God was trying to tell him something. But he would not hear me at all. Later on anyone could see that his health was weakening. I again warned him of this and vehemently tried to get to see a doctor. During this same time, God presented a door or opportunity for me to share the Gospel with him. I told him that if he wanted, that I could baptism in the name of Jesus if he believed the message or others should he desire to have it done. Yet once again he disregarded me earnest plea. The day that I left after talking to him he looked like he was about to die. So I felt very concerned for him. Some ten days later I received a phone call from his wife that he had died of a heart attack. Immediately I went to help her out with funeral arrangements and in whatever way possible. After it was all said and done, I still felt as though I had not done enough to help my friend and nephew. But God used the story of Mike's Phone call to show and speak to me. He allowed me to know that once a person decides to do something, no matter what - if their heart and mind is securely set, that nobody can convince them otherwise. You see though it has been a few years since his death, and at times I have felt that I should of done more, as perhaps that would changed the outcome from bad to good. I now think, in the end things would of been the same regardless of my efforts. That is the lesson I think that God wants

me to understand. Sometimes acceptance is the most difficult lesson of all. I hope that somehow that these stories have helped somebody in some way. "He that waters shall also be watered himself." (Proverbs 11:25) God grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
