Mission

Vision

Our vision is to create sustaining jobs for local artists by establishing America’s first Artist-Entrepreneur Business Incubator by turning the cultural districts of Hyannis-Yarmouth, Cape Cod and Hilo, Hawaii into major art experiences. We aim to share the model of our Artist-Entrepreneur Business Incubator and the ‘Julie Ellen Robbins Foundation for Art Business’ through our open source concept with creative communities all across America to benefit the national creative economy.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to measure our success with a triple bottom line:

1.

How many sustaining jobs we create for the creative community

2.

How well we lead in environmental activism with our program ‘Living Green™’

3. How well we serve the healthiness of our community with our program of returning the arts to our schools, uniting Veterans and Artists with our ‘Welcome Home’ television show, bringing live music to isolated seniors, and supporting organic community gardens.

Mission Strategy

OV will provide a classic pro forma business plan with viable funding sources, credible resources, a sustainable vision, and proven sales traction for the purpose of partnering with the Cultural Councils, Art Associations, Business Improvement Districts, Chamber of Commerces.

Having completed our partnering program in Hyannis-Yarmouth we will replicate our Cape Cod partnering accomplishment in Hawaii with the City of Hilo, Hilo Downtown Improvement Association, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, Hawai’i Island Network of Artists, and the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce.

Employees

Our goal is to provide employment opportunities to local artists through the 30 creative outlets we are establishing, and our hope is that this will result in our younger generation staying on Cape Cod rather than being forced to move after graduation to find employment.

Optimistic Vibe™ doesn’t create job descriptions for employees, but instead has the employee create their own. We want our employees to come to work with passion every day, and our employee’s job satisfaction is very important to us. We allow our employees to create their own schedules, so they can spend time with loved ones, and we pride ourselves on reducing stress in the workplace by being sympathetic to our employees needs.

What do we want to be seen as? Inspiring – A role model of surviving and flourishing artists as a success story despite the tough economic times.

Pro-active and confident – Daring to start a new initiative. Artists taking charge of their lives, learning skills necessary for their own success and not depending on galleries or outside sources.

Realistic and sustainable – Using resources smartly/recycling materials, collaborating on marketing/using available artists talents, drawing on existing resources, setting realistic goals.

Passionate about what We do – we would not dream of spending our life any other way than creating art and a strong artist community. The happiest people on earth are the ones that are pursuing their passions.

Creative – Daring to do something that have not yet been attempted, drawing on our innate creativity and situations when coming up with ideas instead of following the “safe” pre-existing route.

Caring and Supportive – about the environment, giving back to the community, investing in the future of the artists on Cape Cod

Cordial, Positive and Fun – optimistic attitude that is contagious. A community that everyone wants to be a part of – down to earth and welcoming. A community that stays close nit no matter how large it becomes.
