Hello Monroe Team,

Here is what we are doing in for the month of July.

We are one of the three stores that are promoting “Jam the Van.” This is something that we
have been doing for the past 2 months in the parking lot of our store. To date over 600 lbs.
of food has been collected. The Veteran’s campaign will continue until August 19.

This weekend, our “Customer Experience Team” will be sharing information with our
Customers via Sampling and demonstrations in selected Department. The Deli/Bakery will
be serving Store made Chicken Salad on Boulangerie Rosemary and Olive Oil bread. Our
Produce Department will be Selling and Sampling Julie’s Homemade Guacamole with Tortilla
chips. In the Meat department Curt will be serving Thin and Trim Chicken Sausage.

We are looking to have a Pasta Dinner on 7/25 @ 5pm-730pm. We are teaming up with the
American Legion who has let us use their building. The signage is in the stores and in the
community for our event. The menu will include pasta, sauce, bread and butter, salad and
coffee, tea and soda. We will also be serving dessert that will be provided by our bakery
department. The cost of this amazing dinner will be $8.00 a person.

We would also like to congratulate our Produce department for their record sales for the July
4th week. They made a total of $166,015.00. Great job to all in the department, they are
an amazing team.

Finally, we all wish Freddy G good luck in his new assignment as Store Director of the
Scarsdale store. Congratulations we will miss you.
