What is happening in the Mohawk Music Department this Spring?

March 7-10 Performances of this year’s play “The Hobbit” See reverse page for details. Music Department trip to NYC to see “Annie” on Broadway. Spring concert. 6:30p.m. in the Mohawk auditorium MS and HS ensembles. Six Flags “Music in the Parks” competition.
Middle School Chorus performs at hockey game!
On Friday March 1st members of the Middle School Chorus travelled to Springfield, MA to perform at the Falcon’s Hockey game. 21 seventh and eight graders performed “God Bless America” on the ice for Falcons fans and the many parents that came down to watch and support their children. After the performance, students and families stayed to cheer the Falcons onto victory against the Adirondack Phantoms from Glens Falls, NY. This is the fourth time the Middle School Chorus has performed at the Falcons game and look forward to returning next year. Thank you to all parents who chaperoned and came to watch the game!!

Mohawk music teachers Mr. Scott Halligan and Ms. Gina Glover will be forming an after school Jazz Band. This will take place on Mondays after school from 2:15-3:15. We will be having an informational meeting on Monday March 18th after school!!

The Hobbit comes to Mohawk!!
This years all school production begins on Friday! Get your tickets NOW!
TICKET INFORMATION Dwarves ,Elves and well.. Hobbits will be invading Middle Earth, otherwise known as the Mohawk Trail Regional School auditorium, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday Students in grades 7-12 will be acting, singing, and even performing in the lobby as family and friends enter middle earth for the four performances, which begin this week. SHOW TIMES: Friday 7:00p.m. Saturday 2:00p.m. & 7:00p.m. Tickets can be purchased at: The front office at Mohawk, Mocha Maya’s, Elmer’s, MO’s Fudge Factor and World Eye Bookstore. Tickets can also be purchased (for $1 more) by calling 800967-8167. Tickets can be ordered at www.mohawkschools.org/moha wk.php for and extra $1.50.
