Symptom
To perform a remote session with SAP BusinessObjects, you must configure a Netviewer connection in the
SAP Service Marketplace (SMP).

Setting up the Netviewer connection is divided into three parts:

How to download and run the Netviewer client
Connecting to an SAP Support session
How to Configure the Netviewer connection in SMP
This step requires a super-administrator (S-User) account
For a list of Super-administrator for your organization, check the SAP Support Portal
(http://service.sap.com/support) / my Profile / Display my Super-administrators
Login to the Support Portal (SMP) 1.
Click Help & Support 2.
Click Connect to SAP 3.
Click Maintain connection 4.

5. Select the system installation you want NetViewer to access from this list

7. Ensure that the contact information is filled out completely

Click Save 8.
Netviewer connection is now configured.
How to Download and run the Netviewer client
To run the Netviewer client follow these steps:
Navigate to http://www.netviewer.com/sap-ags/en/ 1.

The engineer will ask you to click either one2meet participant program or Netviewer Meet SaaS
Program.

Note: one2meet will require a 6 digit number SaaS will require a 9 digit number
3. Choose Run or Save. Run the application by choosing Run, or double-click on it. This will present
the Moderator Window.

You are now running the Netviewer client.
Connecting to an SAP Support session
Netviewer participant client requires a session number which will be provided by a support engineer.
At the Moderator Window, enter your session number and your name and click Connect.
Answer Yes to content transfer 1.

2. Leave all VoIP settings unchecked and click OK

You are now Connected to SAP Support through Netviewer.

If for any reason you are unable to configure any of the approved SAP tools for support please log an
incident under component XX-SER-NET-HTL.
