Built and managed networks for multiple field operations which included: impleme nting subnetting, VLAN membership, physical location and placement of switches/r outers/servers, configuration of Cisco switches and routers, and fault tolerance policies. Administered, maintained, and continued to build upon a pre-existing network for a regimental sized element (3,000 users) in Iraq from December 2006 - January 2 008. Responsible for the maintenance, security, and accountability of 3.4 million dol lars worth of networking gear for 2nd Marine Regiment. (February 2008 - February 2010). Upgraded the IOS on (30) Cisco 3750 Switches and (6) Cisco 3745 Routers. (Januar y 2010). In charge of a Help-Desk team that administered the secret network for 2nd Marin e Division which included 1500 users and 300 nodes. (February of 2010 - Septembe r of 2010) Extensive use of GhostCast Server to create images and multicast to multiple mac hines that were designated to be placed on the secret network. In addition used Retina Security Scanner to make sure no vulnerabilities existed before the mach ines were allowed on the network.
