Seven Pounds

The world on your shoulders? No just Seven Pounds

Will Smith plays an IRS agent in Gabriele Muccino's new film "Seven Pounds"

³It feels like the world is on my shoulders´ is a common phrase used by most people when they are under lots of stress. Of  course, no one wants weight on their shoulders, well maybe in this case an IRS agent does, Seven pounds of it to be exact. Why is that you ask? Well the answer is as simple as the plot of

the movie and as dark as the blue sky, get it? This emotional rollercoaster  would not be complete without the all star cast which includes Will Smith, Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, Barry Pepper  and Michael Ealy. Buckle your seatbelts for this emotional ride.

The main character, Will Smith plays an IRS agent named Ben Thomas who feels the named to do an act of redemption and help seven strangers who are in need of help. h elp. One thing

the affection Smith is trying to portray in his character. Obviously this comes as no surprise to those who have been fans of his work. This is something he is simply gifted with.

movie Gabriele Muccino is also the director of ³The Pursuit of  Happiness´ and it¶s fair to say directing these movies are her  ultimate gift. Eyes, Hearts, Love, Life«yes that pretty much sums up the entire movie.

In my opinion, the best part of the movie was the incredible

Overall, the only negative opinion I must share is how the director failed to include a background story on Ben¶s life to bring the reason for his redemption to society in such a major way. Also how predictable the ending becomes once you put two and two together but still none the less it is worth watching. The director of the
