Editors Preface Spring 2012
How the year flies, before you know it we will be having our june picnic. It has also been reported that sometime in May many parents will have to choose a new school if the decision to close Wainwright stands. Under a March 2012 School Board proposal these students may find themselves next year at Gardner Law and Government Academy. Churchill Downs is a neighborhood association composed of multiple subdivisions located between Holmes Road and Jolly to the south, Waverly to the West, and Wainwright Avenue on the East. If you live within these boundaries we invite you to be a part of this organization. Also if you have internet please check out our webpage
We meet every third Tuesday of the month, 6:30 PM at Wainwright School.

Sincerely William Hubbell – Editor.
