Holiday Show
Our annual Holiday Show will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Ritenour Middle School gymnasium. Performers should be dropped off in the school cafeteria when the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Parents can then find seats in the gym. After their last performance, students may find a seat with their families in the audience. Tickets for the Holiday Show will go on sale at the front desk on Monday, Dec. 5. Tickets are $5 per person in advance and $7 per person at the door. Children ages 3 and under are free. Advance tickets will be available for pickup at the front desk the week before the show. Costumes for the show will be borrowed from the studio. Your child will receive his or her costume in class the week before the show. Please make sure your child has nudecolored tights and a black studio leotard, as these may be used as part of her costume. Costumes should be returned to the studio the week classes resume after holiday break, which will take place Dec. 21-Jan. 3.
Recital Costume Payments
Recital costumes are expected to be paid in full by Thursday, Dec. 1. Costumes that are not paid for will NOT be ordered, and students without costumes will NOT be permitted to perform in the recital. Exact costume prices will be handed out the week of Nov. 14. Until then, estimate that child sizes will range from $40-45 per dance and adult sizes will range from $50-60 per dance. We encourage families to make small payments throughout the year in order to avoid overwhelming costs during the holiday season.
Holiday Party
The studio will host its annual Holiday Party on Friday, Dec. 9 from 6-8 p.m. in the upstairs studio. Parents are invited to join us but are not required to stay. Games, crafts, snacks – and dancing! – will be provided during the party. Inclement Weather
With the winter season approaching, classes may be canceled due to inclement weather. If it is determined that weather conditions will make it unsafe to hold classes, a message will be left on the studio's answering machine by 3 p.m. Cancellation notices will also be posted on our Facebook page and website.
