We are not having any type of celebration on Wednesday. If students want to send goody bags that is okay, but there will need to be enough to pass out to all students (22). They gifts will be passed out at the last 5 minutes of the day. On Friday we will have our goal celebration for those students who made their first 9 weeks goals. We will be having our awards at around 1:50 pm. We will be passing out goal dog tags and then eating ice pops out on the playground. There is a new math website students can login and practice. Reminder: Spelling tests are on Fridays. The test will be given in sentence format. I will give the students a sentence and they are only expected to correctly spell the words on the spelling list. The first 9 weeks students do not lose points for capitals, punctuation, or spaces but will lose points for this starting the second 9 weeks. Spelling test will be returned on Mondays (typically) in the homework folder the following week. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. ~ Mrs. Clark

I am sending home our first homework packets this week. You will see one reading page, two math practice sheets and will have spelling homework (write words in alphabetical order and in a sentence). These packets will typically go home on Mondays and are expected to be returned completed on Fridays. Also, this week we will be having our first spelling test on Friday. Reminder: Spelling tests are on Fridays. The test will be given in sentence format. I will give the students a sentence and they are only expected to correctly spell the words on the spelling list. The first 9 weeks students do not lose points for capitals, punctuation, or spaces but will lose points for this starting the second 9 weeks. Spelling test will be returned on Mondays (typically) in the homework folder the following week. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. ~ Mrs. Clark

I am sending home our first homework packets this week. You will see one reading page, two math practice sheets and will have spelling homework (write words in alphabetical order and in a sentence). These packets will typically go home on Mondays and are expected to be returned completed on Fridays. Also, this week we will be having our first spelling test on Friday.
