Night (age 18) The moon hovers over me, As I walk below. The dark surrounds me, And allows me to let go. I swallow in my fears, And continue on my way. My eyes are tightly shut, And all I see is gray. My body begins to tingle, And shiver with sadness. The winds twirl around me, And I am struck with madness. I shift from right to left, And then I hit the ground. I quickly sit up, When I hear night's sound. I can feel the moon scowling at me, Making me feel so scared. It's off to my empty house, To lay in my terrifying bed.
