the IMQ and is reviewed by OR director Dr. Goldman on a quarterly basis. In order for
any physician to perform a procedure, he or she needs to meet certain requirements

Mitchel P. Goldman, M.D., Medical Director
Mitchel Goldman M.D. is a board certified San Diego dermatologist and
Diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, recognized by the
American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Cosmetic
Surgery. He is a volunteer Clinical Professor in Medicine/Dermatology at the
University of California, San Diego and the founder and Medical Director of
Goldman Butterwick Fitzpatrick Groff, & Fabi, Cosmetic Laser Dermatology.


Kimberly J. Butterwick, M.D.
Kimberly J. Butterwick, M.D. received her specialty in Dermatology at the
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1989, and is today recognized as
one of the most renowned skin care experts in the country. Board certified
by the American Board of Dermatology and a Diplomat of the American
Board of Cosmetic Surgery, she is considered a leading authority in
injectables, filler technology, lasers, and liposculture.
Richard Fitzpatrick, M.D.
Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick is a world-famous leader in Dermatology. He is
also a caring and experienced doctor who wants only the best for his
patients. This combination of innovation and experience makes him
a wonderful resource for his patients. Dr. Fitzpatrick is known
internationally for his innovative work developing medical lasers. He
created many well-known laser procedures including laser
resurfacing of the skin with the UltraPulse CO2 laser.

William F. Groff, D.O.
Dr. William F. Groff has been practicing Cosmetic Dermatology for over 12 years.
As a leader in this field, Dr. Groff has given over 100 lectures in ten different
countries on laser resurfacing, Ultherapy, Botox, and fillers. He was
instrumental in developing the Ultra Repair resurfacing procedure. As an
advanced cosmetic injector, Dr. Groff serves as a trainer for: Botox Cosmetic,
Juvederm, Restyling, Perlane, Dysport, Belotero, and Xeomin. Recently, Dr.
Groff appeared on CBS’s The Doctors Show to discuss the latest in laser
resurfacing. He is also is a regular dermatology correspondent on Fox News.
Sabrina G. Fabi, M.D.
Dr. Sabrina Guillen Fabi is a double board-certified San Diego dermatologist and cosmetic
surgeon. She lectures and trains physicians both nationally and internationally on lasers and
injectables, and is a world renown expert on such procedures as Ulthera. She serves as the
head of the research department at the practice, and is actively involved in multiple clinical
studies, including Phase III FDA clinical trials. She believes in optimally enhancing the
appearance of her patients by combining state of the art technology, with the most up to date
medical evidence, and an advanced skill set.
