Last week, President Obama promised to bring people together from all sides to discuss what to do about the fiscal cliff. By all sides, he apparently meant unions, Hollywood, and wild left interest groups. Obama won the presidency in large part thanks to the efforts of unions, who turned out thousands of members to boost Obama’s ground game. And Hollywood chipped in, too, by consistently portraying Obama as a put-upon genius, and Mitt Romney as an out-of-touch elitist. And that’s not even mentioning the musicians who toured with Obama to help him fill his less-than-enthused stadiums. Now Obama is making good on his promises to unions, and his promises to Hollywood. This is the crowd that defines the Obama administration. They always have. Obama just doesn’t care who sees it anymore.

In spite of the obvious voter fraud (e.g. 140% of registered voters voting in many precincts, obama getting 100% of the vote in hundreds of other precincts, etc.), I blame Mitt Romney and his advisors for totally alienating Ron Paul supporters. Instead of letting Ron Paul speak at the GOP convention and possibly offering him a position as Treasury Secretary, the morons running the Romney campaign did just the opposite. If Arizona law prohibits it I would want her to follow the law. I think there should be term limits on all elected officials. Public service was supposed to mean that people would give up their real jobs for a period of time and then go back to them. It was never supposed to be a career. I think the country would be better served by people who would run for office knowing that it was temporary. This applies to Jan Brewer as much as anyone else. Even Rudy Giuliani, who was encouraged to run for mayor again in 2001, (he would have won by a landslide) decided to follow the law instead. Bloomberg, on the other hand figured that NYC just couldn't live without him.

That's one good idea. That's is implementing an idea that actually worked in increasing revenue and shown historically with Bush, Reagan, Clinton and JFK, where the tax rates were lowered for everyone. Raising taxes in a economic downturn with high unemployment and little growth will not produce the miraculous growth that Dems are salivating over. They can't see proven, true economic policies that have worked historically through the green with envy of the rich mantra they preach. 2013 is going to be very interesting.

Last week, President Obama promised to bring people together from all sides to discuss what to do about the fiscal cliff. By all sides, he apparently meant unions, Hollywood, and wild left interest groups. In spite of the obvious voter fraud (e.g. 140% of registered voters voting in many precincts, obama getting 100% of the vote in hundreds of other precincts, etc.), I blame Mitt Romney and his advisors for totally alienating Ron Paul supporters. If Arizona law prohibits it I would want her to follow the law. I think there should be term limits on all elected officials. Public service was supposed to mean that people would give up their real jobs for a period of time and then go back to them. It was never supposed to be a career. I think the country would be better served by people who would run for office knowing that it was temporary. This applies to Jan Brewer as much as anyone else. Even Rudy Giuliani, who was encouraged to run for mayor again in 2001, (he would have won by a landslide) decided to follow the law instead. Bloomberg, on the other hand figured that NYC just couldn't live without him.

That's one good idea. That's is implementing an idea that actually worked in increasing revenue and shown historically with Bush, Reagan, Clinton and JFK, where the tax rates were lowered for everyone. Raising taxes in a economic downturn with high unemployment and little growth will not produce the miraculous growth that Dems are salivating over.
