Dear Sir,
In reference to the discussion, we are ready to provide following test:Sr.

A.
1. Rebar scan - Find probable rebar arrangement of Beam, Column
and Slab. Switzerland made machine will be used. Name: PROCEQ
Profometer 5+.
2. Manual Rebound hammer - Find probable concrete strength of
beam, column and slab. Result varies ±20%.
B.
Core cutting and test in BUET ONLY
(Column and Slab only, not beam).
Client has to seal the specimen and provides Written Paper to BUET
For test.
3” (75mm) core can be cut from.
(1) Column (In Top 2 floors ONLY).
(2) Slab (Any floor).

50% advance payment. Remaining 50% should be paid at the time of receiving report from undersign person
from his office.
We shall remove plaster from some surface and client has to again plaster those area and color on there own.
Footing’s rod is not possible to scan.
Rebar scanning: Lowest accuracy limit required by the standard BS1881: Part 204: ±2 mm or ±5 % (Current
machine used: Proceq Profometer 5+).
Concrete strength Result may vary ±20 % (Current machine used: Manual rebound hammer machine)
Electrical or other conduit, lapping rod, rebar closer than 50mm, Improper plaster removal, honeycomb in concrete,
Poor construction material, very old rebar with stain, others etc and Human error may impact on result.
Necessary help during test (Water, electricity, cleaning) has to be provided by client.
After core cutting, hole has to be filled very carefully with non-shrink grout by client.
Client has to seal the specimen and provides Written Paper to BUET for test.
