SYNOPSIS ONLINE BLOOD BANK
1: INTRODUCTION
This is basically a website where any person can get instance information about the latest blood donation camp, hospitals can get to know where the nearest required blood group is available through the website. If a person is willing to donate the blood can simply register on this website and he will be regularly updated about the latest blood donation camp through email.

2: IDEA BEHIND THIS TOPIC
We have chosen this particular project because in today’s world more and more accidents are taking place due to this, emergency of specific blood group arises and within limited time it is not easy to arrange the required blood group so this website will help them to find the required blood group nearest available location in less time.

3: MARKET SURVEY
In market survey we went through couple of website related to our topic thoroughly. The websites are as follows 1: http://www.bloodbankonline.org/ 2: http://www.bharatbloodbank.com/ 3: http://www.giveindia.org/default.aspx WE FOUND SOME LIMITATIONS ON THESE WEBSITES 1:http://www.bloodbankonline.org/ 1: THE GUI of the website is not user friendly 2: The details of the creator of the website is given which is making the website complex 3: More advertisement is posted on website which leads to delay in performance for most of new users. 4: There are unnecessary tab in the menu bar which says "WHY DONATE BLOOD", which is meaningless

5: Lots of redundant things are present on website which makes the website more complicated. 6: The login box of donor is smaller in size then required.

2:http://www.bharatbloodbank.com/ 1: The GUI of website is again not user friendly. 2: The home page contains the "find a donor" in big font and the login of donor is in somewhere at the top right corner. 3: There are unnecessary tab in the menu bar which says "WHY DONATE BLOOD", which is meaningless. 4: Here there is a review from the people who have donated blood sharing experience about their donation which is not needed 5: This website provide the information about "blood facts" and "tips of blood donation" which should be at least priority. It is posted on the homepage instead they should have grouped this informations into a separate menu bar called "help" or something.

3:http://www.giveindia.org/default.aspx 1: GUI is very confusing & does not serve the purpose of it being user friendly 2:The homepage has some manual working instructions about the website 3: The side bar contains list of cause one can donate blood which makes the donation of blood for specific purpose which is ethically not right as blood donation must be general. 4: The login box is again small in size and placed in bottom left corner. 5: Alongwith the manual instructions the details of the working of the website is again a separate tab in menu bar which is not required

The sole purpose of a developer to develop a project is to make an end product that is easy to use and comfortable to the person who has least knowledge about computers. And therefore looking at all the limitations we have decided to make a simpler GUI and only display the required details and design the website as simple as possible so that even a novice can interact with the website with ease and comfort.

4: FEASIBILITY STUDY
Many feasibility studies are disillusioning for both users and analysis. First, the study often presupposes that when the feasibility documents is being prepared, the analyst is in a position to evaluate solutions. Second most studies tend to overlook the confusion inherent in system development the constraint and the assumed attitudes. If the feasibility study is served as a decision document it must answer three key questions A: Is there a new and better way to do the job that will benefit the user? B: What are the cost and savings of the alternative(s)? C: What is recommended? There are basically 3 types of feasibility study 1: Technical feasibility 2: Financial feasibility 3: Behavior feasibility

1: TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY Technical feasibility study deals with the components of computer which include hardware and software. So in our project it plays a vital role the basic requirement of login on our website are as follows:• • • • Processor – P IV 700 MHz Motherboard – 1810e with inbuilt 2MB video RAM Hard Disks – 40 GB Memory – 512MB DDR RAM Miscellaneous – 1.44 Floppy Disk Drive, 15” Color Monitor, Keyboard.

So we need to take into consideration these factor or system requirements. The above requirement is for client or user and for server the requirement is high and we have to take this factors or requirements into consideration. Technical feasibility also specifies that if the system did not match the minimum requirements then additional hardware or software should be installed as per requirement. So if some client does not have enough hardware minimum required for the login on the website then he need to upgrade their system same applies to server machine too.

2: Financial feasibility It is also called as economical feasibility. It basically deals with the capital and features means if the cost of the project is low and features are more, then the project is financially feasible else it is not. As we are developing a easy and simple website, definitely the cost of project will be low as compared to the other website mentioned above our project provides more features in low cost as this project will more beneficiary to hospitals their work will be easier Features provided are          Administrator login. User login (for purchasing online blood). Information Regarding blood banks. Details of NGO Funding. Details about important Hospitals. Online details about available blood stock Information about blood donation. Online Blood stock. Details information about Blood Donation and related physical health details.

The features mentioned above are provided in our website at reasonable cost also it provides more features or function. So making this website is financially feasible.

3: Behavior feasibility Behaviour feasibility means the overall working of the system, it include DFD (Data Flow Diagram). We will explain the working of our system or website with the help of the DFD. The Data Flow Diagram is as follows: -

BLOOD BANK

The above diagram shows level zero of The system called as online blood bank. In level zero only one process that is online blood bank is present as well as three external entities user, hospital, blood bank exists. User the first external entity will first register on the web site and the process of login will occur and user will log in to the website with the given authentication as the user will login, certain query will be fired by user and website will process it and give the desired output. The second external entity is hospitals they will request for information of bloods available or they will order blood as they may require it. In the website this request is processed and certain output is given to the hospitals regarding information of blood, generally this information is regarding availability of blood. Third external entity is blood bank. The blood banks will update the information of the new stock of blood is available at their respective place and this information is updated in database & posted on website and all user can access it. Generally this website will process the query if the person or organization is registered on the website.

5: FRONT END: - ASP.NET (C#) BACK END: - SQL 2005
1: ASP.NET(C#)     ASP.NET is the next generation of ASP. ASP means Active Server Pages. It was developed by Microsoft in the year 2002. It is mainly used for web based applications.

2: SQL 2005

SQL Server 2005 (codename Yukon), released in October 2005,is the successor to SQL Server 2000. It included native support for managing XML data, in addition to relational data. For this purpose, it defined an xml data type that could be used either as a data type in database columns or as literals in queries. XML columns can be associated with XSD schemas; XML data being stored is verified against the schema. XML is converted to an internal binary data type before being stored in the database.

6: CONCLUSION
A:Beneficiary of project    B:Output  Group wise listing of various blood groups. Citizens Hospital Department Blood Bank

Registered users would get information about an upcoming blood donation camp through email. Also citizens can avail of this information on the website.

C:Impact   People can get registration at ease. Before any blood donation camp the registered users can get all the details regarding the camp.
