Managed production operations for an aggressive expansion in facilities and staffing , to support ambitious, simultaneous launch of 25 new products with all new tooling. Despite fire damage to systems, led production to meet all deadlines, losing only the 180 minutes required to extinguish the fire. Revamped MRP and sales forecasting. Client maintained excessively high inventory levels yet still suffered out-of-stock problems. Corrected product demand forecasting and MRP-based raw materials ordering errors. err ors. Cut finished good and work-inprogress inventory from ten million dollars to four million while eliminating product outages. Change agent that turned around a manufacturer from the worst quality and delivery performance  in the company’s 35-year history,  from losses to bottom line profits. Restructured production planning, asset utilization and staffing, resulting in restored on-time delivery of quality goods with a 24/5 production schedule. Quickly achieved ISO 9000 certification and introduced production plan that elevated quality and delivery  performance from 88% of goal to 100%. Eliminated need for costly weekend production and reduced staffing. Secured ISO

9000 status on first audit, and made lucrative sale of company possible. Eliminated overtime while restoring deadline compliance.   Client’s five day order entry lag cascaded through the entire production cycle, causing rushed work, delivery delays and poor quality. Reprioritized processes and staffing and radically shortened order-to-delivery cycle. Ensured one-hour response to customer inquiries. Stepped in as operations improvement project manager   that introduced best practices adopted nationwide. Xerox threatened $1.2M consulting assignment assignment lawsuit prior to my arrival. Reengineered entire project design from top to bottom.
