PHILLIPS * Page 2 * [email protected] Notable Achievements: June 2002- October 2003: Fort Wainwright Alaska, was selected to be the Company Commander of the largest UH-60 Blackhawk Air Assault Helicopter Company in the Army; a CPT in a MAJ's position, responsible for the leadership, mission readine ss, training and welfare of 136 soldiers, crewmembers, pilots and associated equ ipment valued in excess of 64.5 million dollars; which included 15 UH-60 Helicop ters. The company was the centerpiece of a battalion deployment package to Cali fornia in support of the president's war on drugs and flew over 400 hours in six weeks. The company contributed to a singularly successful rotation, which disc overed a record breaking number of marijuana plants. Our primary mission was to prepare for deployment to a theater of conflict anywhere in the world. March 1999-January 2000: Command and Control Platoon Leader, in charge of and re sponsible for 4 UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, 15 officers and enlisted members. Conducted countless missions employing an aerial command post for the highest le vels of command in the 101st Airborne Division. March 1997-March 1998: General Support Platoon Leader providing a readiness pack age for a world wide contingency deployment mission in 18 hours; responsible for 4 UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters, the leadership, training, health and welfare of 12 officers and enlisted members.
