H. INFORMATION/CONSENT PUBLIC HEARINGS Public Works Department 1. SUBJECT: Amendments to the City Code Regarding the Sewer Use Ordinance. (019) RECOMMENDATION: 1) Hold a public hearing concerning the adoption of an ordinance that amends Oxnard City Code Chapter 19, Sections 19-4 (C), (E), (WW), (JJJ), (SSS), (BBBB), (CCCC), 19-71, 19-75, 19-80, 19-92, 19-93, and 19-118 to provide the City of Oxnard (the “City”) with the adequate legal authority to comply with all applicable State and federal laws including the Clean Water Act (33 USC Sections 1251 et seq.), general pretreatment regulations (40 CFR Part 403), and the requirements of the city's national pollutant discharge elimination system permit; and 2) Approve the first reading by title only and subsequent adoption of an ordinance that amends Oxnard City Code Chapter 19, Sections 19-4 (C), (E), (WW), (JJJ), (SSS), (BBBB), (CCCC), 1971, 19-75, 19-80, 19-92, 19-93, and 19-118. (105) RECOMMENDATION: 1) Receive staff’s oral report, open the public hearing, receive and consider public testimony, close the public hearing and approve the Relocation Plan for the Courts Public Housing Project substantially in the form presented, with such non-substantive changes as may be approved by the General Counsel; and 2) Authorize the Housing Director to prepare, revise, and sign all documents necessary and appropriate to carry out and implement the Relocation Plan, and to administer the Housing Authority’s obligations, responsibilities, and duties pursuant to those documents. The Human Resources Director requested that this item be discussed in closed session under the Brown Act exception of Conference with Labor Negotiators.
