Vehicle stopped on traffic for disregarding a red traffic control device at the intersection of Shadow Creek Parkway and Kirby Dr. Vehicle was occupied by a white male and a white female. It was discovered that the female passenger had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Harris County Sheriff`s office. The female was then arrested for the confirmed warrant. Following the arrest, the female requested that her purse be taken with her to the jail. She later advised that she wanted to leave the purse in the possession of the male driver. At this time it was discovered that the female was in possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and Alprazolam. The female was arrested for her possession of illegal substances and for her confirmed outstanding warrant. Before being placed into custody officers conducted a consent search of his vehicle, where they located a small amount of marijuana.
