Performance Appraisal System for Teaching (PAST) is done
every semester as the basic for our performance output. For this S.Y. 2013, from June to October in my Professional and Personal Characteristics, I rated us (Very Satisfactory) because I believe that I demonstrated most of the time the specified personal/professional characteristics. As a teacher, I don’t do any quickly decisions without thinking first. I always ask suggestions or opinions from my co-teachers whatever plans I’ve made for the group. I’m honest to my work, especially in terms of money, because I want to gain trust and respect from others. Maintaining good working relationships with my administers, coteachers, parents and pupils is also a great character that I practice most of the time. I understand that a good teacher commits and dedicates herself to the job, I can say, I am one because I do my work without looking at the time, doing school paper works even late at night. In my daily teaching, I don’t used only textbooks materials, and the truth that happening outside. As for my leadership, I served for 3 consecutive years from S.Y. 2009-2013 as grade chairman without any complains and serves as coach in different school activities. Although, during my leadership, I encounter some problems and difficulties but I stayed calm, without getting caused by strong emotions of helplessness and hopelessness. I can say that I am fair and just giving grades to my pupils, based from them performance output. I observed to have pleasing personality by wearing the prescribe Dep. Ed. Uniforms to look active and smart all the time, because I believe that teacher is a model to the pupils. These are my personal characteristics I demonstrated for the first semester for S.Y. 2013.
