PERIMETER PROTECTION
Perimeter Security Systems
As perimeter is the first building block to protect your property so it has to be equipped in all possible ways. The
purpose of a perimeter is to physically, psychologically and legally deter intruders. Physical protection can come
from establishing several security perimeters around facilities storing classified material.
Physical security measures must also be taken to meet the threat to security posed by the ill-intentioned person
who already has authority to enter the site, building or secure zone, rather than the intruder from outside. The
modern security devices and policies go hand- in-hand with traditional barrier systems adding high level of
security to your property.
Under Perimeter Intrusion Detection/Protection Systems we have the following systems backed by highly trained
and qualified team:
1. Bi-Static Microwave Barrier System: This detector is designed for the detection of human beings within a
protected area. They are two-positioned bi static Microwave detectors, with ranges from 50 to 800m (150 to
2400ft). They are immune to small animals and birds, and feature terrain learning abilities. Each kit consists of a
transmitter, receiver, and all necessary mounting and operation hardware. These detectors should be used along
the perimeter of buildings or open spaces, in-between buildings, at borders, mounted on top of any type of
fencing, outdoor storage yards, parking lots, etc.

2. Mono-Static Microwave: This is designed for the detection of human beings within a protected area. They
are single-positioned, mono static Volumetric Microwave detectors with ranges from 20 to 80m (50 to 260ft).
These units are excellent at protecting open spaces, roof tops, gates, passages, alleyways, large industrial spaces
indoors (such as warehouses or factories), storage yards, and truck bays. Each kit comes complete with a
transceiver and all necessary mounting and operating hardware.

3. Multi-Beam Infrared: These Infra Red Beam Barriers also have been designed to be installed in external
applications under the most demanding climatic conditions. They are two-positioned bi static Infrared barriers,
with ranges from 50 to 200/250M. They are supplied in pre-configured multi-beam assemblies that are easy to
install and set-up. Can be used to provide secondary levels of protection or to cover gateways & openings.

4. Electric Fencing Systems: This system is a physical fence barrier, sensitive to the disturbance generated by
intrusion attempts. Because it is made from stainless steel wire, once installed it also represents a barrier of
considerable deterrent, which is also perfectly suited as a fence.

The system consists of an Energizer, Fence Voltage Alarm (FVA). The Energizer takes the supplied voltage as
input and energizes the same to high voltage pulses. These pulses will travel through the Fence wires at regular
interval of around 1 pulse per 1.2 second with the duration of each pulse of about 3 milliseconds. When intruders
touch the electric fence, they will get a short, sharp and memorable experience.
Electric fences are the first line of defense, at the perimeter. It serves as a deterrent to would-be intruders, who
climb the primary barrier, the compound wall. All other home security devices serve only as detection devices.
