PITCH'09, the national marketing communications event for upper secondary school students, is coming our way again and I would like to invite Woodlands Secondary to participate. PITCH'09 is a unique learning platform to introduce your students to the world of Advertising, Public Relations & Marketing Communications. As with last year's event, PITCH'09 comes in two parts: the Conference and the Competition. The Conference 18 July 2009 (Saturday) | 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. At the Conference, students will listen to and learn from industry professionals as they share insights into the Advertising and Public Relations practices. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to gain exposure to the creative services industry. At the end of the Conference, students will be fully briefed about the PITCH‘09 Competition. The Competition 1 August 2009 (Saturday) | 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Students will apply what they have learnt at the Conference and hone their creative skills to develop a Marketing Communications Campaign to promote mental wellness to their respective schools. They will present their campaigns to a panel of judges comprising industry professionals. Prizes will be awarded to the best 3 teams.
