A Special World
- Sheelagh Lennon – A special world for you and me A special bond one cannot see It wraps us up in its cocoon And holds us fiercely in its womb. Its fingers spread like fine spun gold Gently nestling us to the fold Like silken thread it holds us fast Bonds like this are meant to last. And though at times a thread may break A new one forms in its wake To bind us closer and keep us strong In a special world, where we belong.

What I Love About You

I love the way you make me so happy, And the ways you show you care. I love the way you say, "I Love You," And the way you're always there. I love the way you touch me, Always sending chills down my spine. I love that you are with me, And glad that you are mine.

WHAT YOU MEAN TO ME By: Merlinda T. Membreve Every day and night I think of you I don’t know why but it is true Even I think of your negative, But my heart sees only your positive I know it is wrong And I try my best to be strong To overcome this emotion Cuz it is only an illusion I’ll pray you’ll be alright And think of you every night Hoping my dream to come true Cuz I can’t live without you

What is Love?
By: Merlinda Membreve Every person needs to be loved But love is given and can’t be grabbed It comes to your life in unexpected ways True love lasts long and not just for a few days When love for someone you begin to feel You would not know if it is real Questions and doubts trouble your mind The sign of true love you want to find You find difficulty in describing Cuz love has no exact meaning Love is a deep mystery And it comes to life unexpectedly

Have We Forgotten God?
BY: Merlinda Membreve As people wake up on a brand new day They look for their cellphones to make the gay They read their messages from bottom to top Not even remembering who made them wake up When problem come into their way Their day will start with great dismay They don’t know what to think or say And forget that God has a way Troubles and trials will be sent away If only they’ll learn to kneel and pray And accept everything with humility Then problems and trials will be solved immediately

Perfection in my Eyes
- Ashley Borden –

About You
- Nicola May Tucker – Your touch is with me always, It’s burnt into my skin, As soft and warm as sun rays When a summer day sets in. Your soft voice never silent, It’s forever in my ears, Serenading every moment And calming all my fears. Your arms always enfold me, The strength of angels wings, They support and protect me wholly With the safety a true love brings. While I can never repay you, For the wonder you bring to my life, I can forever be true, And forever be a true wife.

All I ever wanted was to be part of your heart, And for us to be together, to never be apart. No one else in the world can even compare, You're perfect and so is this love that we share. We have so much more than I ever thought we would, I love you more than I ever thought I could. I promise to give you all I have to give, I'll do anything for you as long as I live. In your eyes I see our present, our future and past, By the way you look at me I know we will last. I hope that one day you'll come to realize, How perfect you are when seen through my eyes.

Always in my Mind
By: Trent Joumar Añabieza You’re always in my mind every night and day And when you’re there it’s hard to look away Though I try to find the words to say Even if you’re near, you seem so far away A single day without you near me Makes me feel tormented and lonely When I see you, my heart starts beating But when you’re gone, it won’t stop bleeding My love is as constant as the sky so blue Forever and ever, only you And even though, you can’t love me too My love for you will always be true

As Long As You're Near
- Cristy Smith –

The first time we met, I could see, That you and I, were meant to be. Your eyes were so gentle, your smile so true, When you first held my hand, I just knew. Now the time has gone by, through laughter and tears, These days I shall cherish, for years upon years. Those memories we have, shall never fade, For those are the steps, that we have made. That was the past, the future is near, I anxiously wait, for what will appear. New homes, more laughter, and children so dear, Everything will be wonderful, as long as you're near.

You Take Me There
By: Ralph Quinonez

O Heart of God
by: Edwin Leibfreed O heart of God, beat once for me! The bird shall build its nest Within the shelter of the tree, But I, within Thy breast. O heart of God, bleed once for me! My sins are scarlet streams That flow to Thy forgiving sea, Whose depths are angel's themes. O heart of love, if pity be Thy gift of grace to grant, Remember broken hearts would see The grave's steep sides made slant! O heart of God, if tear-dimmed eyes Can make Thee also weep, Let beauty out of ashes rise Where my beloved sleep! O heart of God, if we are kin, Give me to know my own When Heaven's gates shall close within, And earth and time are flown!

As I search for your Saving grace, I know one day I'll see your face. Waiting is the hardest thing for me, I know with you I will be so free. I seek you each day and seek your name, I am nothing without you or your Fame. Waking with you, you give me power, To make it another day and another hour. Learning your word is oh so smart, I love you Lord with all my heart. Give me eternity and take me home, That day I will never be alone.

The Quest for God
by: Edwin Leibfreed I scan the heart of life for destiny, And find it only added mystery. I listen to the sweet-lipped brook that tells Of soothing shades, and nymph-blest sylvan dells. I hear the warble of a bird in ecstasy, But none of these reveal divinity. The greatest souls must always lonely be, Since isolation aids tranquility. In solitude, and silence, and the night, The God we seek will yearning souls invite. Here find we God, at last, to be adored, In silence, more eloquent than spoken word. A peace, a calm, a silence reverent, Where man may know he is of God's descent. Into the place where nothing is, but thought, The secret place wherein all things are wrought, Where glows the sacred fire that never dies, And where the solemn plan of all things lies, Here comes life, soul--primordial things untaught-And ruling these, is everlasting thought.

God's World
by: Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892-1950) Thy winds, thy wide grey skies! Thy mists, that roll and rise! Thy woods, this autumn day, that ache and sag And all but cry with colour! That gaunt crag To crush! To lift the lean of that black bluff! World, World, I cannot get thee close enough! But never knew I this; Here such a passion is As stretcheth me apart--Lord, I do fear Thou'st made the world too beautiful this year; My soul is all but out of me--let fall No burning leaf; prithee, let no bird call.

The Cross The Universal Prayer
by: Alexander Pope (1688-1744) Father of all! in every age, In every clime adored, By saint, by savage, and by sage, Jehovah, Jove, or Lord! Thou great First Cause, least understood! Who all my sense confined To know but this, that thou art good, And that myself am blind; This day be bread and peace my lot: All else beneath the sun, Thou know'st if best bestowed or not; And let thy will be done. To thee, whose temple is all space, Whose altar, earth, sea, skies, One chorus let all being raise; All nature's incense rise! by: William B. Tappan (1794-1849) Symbol of shame--mysterious sign Of groans, and agonies and blood, Hail, pledge of love and peace divine From God. Symbol of hope to those that stray,-The pilgrim's step is led to thee; Star of the soul thou guid'st the way To Calvary. Symbol of tears--I look, and mourn His woes, whose soul for mine was riven; Where, wanderer, is thy due return To heaven? Symbol of empire--thou shalt rise And shine, where lands in darkness sit, On Indian domes that greet the skies And minaret. Symbol of glory--when no more The monarch seeks a fleeting throne, Thy victim once, shall worlds adore The God alone.

You Made Me Believe
By: Merlinda Membreve I never thought you were sincere But you’ve proven your love by always being here You shown your love for me is true Not expecting I will love you too Even I kept saying to stop loving me But you remained sincere in loving me I don’t know if that is true Cuz I still don’t have full faith in you You kept saying to love me forever And hoping to spend our lives together You wanted to be part of my heart And prayed that we will never be apart I’ll never go far away from you Cuz you’re meant for me and that is true I know that I should believe in you And now I’ve learned to love you too.

I Am a Christian
by: S. Moore I am a Christian, and I love the name, Nor will I shrink thro' fear or guilty shame, To tell the world that I belong to God-Redeemed and washed in the atoning blood. I am a Christian, and I'll bear the cross, Tho' it exposes me to grief and loss; My loving Lord who hung upon the tree, Endured the cross, a heavier one, for me. I am a Christian, cheered with inward grace And by the smile which beams on Jesus' face, O! may I act a Christian and proclaim The saving power of my Redeemer's name. I am a Christian, and I hope for heaven, Because in Christ I feel my sins forgiven; 'Tis but a little while till he shall come And take me with His ransomed people home.

The Holy Communion
by: Alice Williams Brotherton (1848-1930) Who is the blessed guest Here present at the feast? Is it not Christ the Lord, Who comes, with silent tread, To join the table spread According to His word? He blest the bread and brake, Saying: "Take, eat for my sake." He poured the ruddy wine: "For love of me this do. My Father gives to you Share of the life divine!" O Thou, who knowest our need, Our hungry spirits feed With Thine own bread of life; Into our souls like wine Pour Thou the strength divine To aid us in the strife!

Sensational Love
By: Trent A. Whenever I put myself in deep meditation, I question myself as an evaluation I come up with an answer and realization That loving you has become a sensation If I can’t see you for a day It’s like my life is turning gray As if my world in darkness and blight I’m full of despair without you as my light Without you, my life seems so narrow, Just like being struck by the devil’s arrow But everytime we are together I wish the moment would last forever
