We've known lots of pleasure, At times endured pain,, We've lived in the sunshine, And walked in the rain. , But now we're seperated , And for a time apart,, But I am not alone- , You're forever in my heart., Death always seems so sudden, , And it is always sure,, But what is oft' forgotten-, It is not without a cure., There may be times you miss me, , I sort of hope you do,, But smile when you think of me,, For I'll be waiting for , you. Now there's many things for you to do,, And lots of ways to grow,, So get busy, be happy, and live your life,, Miss me, but let me go. Don’t tell me that you understand. Don’t tell me that you know. Don’t tell me that I will survive, How I will surely grow. Don’t come at me with answers That can only come from me. Don’t tell me how my grief will pass, That I will soon be free. Accept me in my ups and downs. I need someone to share. Just hold my hand and let me cry And say, “My friend, I care" Don’t grieve for me,, for now I’m free , I’m following the path, God has laid you see., I took His hand, when I heard him call, I turned my back , and left it all. I could not stay another day , To laugh, to love, to work, to play., Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day., If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy., A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. , Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow., My life’s been full, I savored much , Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. ,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief., Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now; He set me free. ,

Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Pray, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was, let it be spoken without effect without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was; there is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner.
Our Reunion in Heaven This poem is dedicated to all the families who have lost a loved one: We weren't prepared that day, When God called you away. So many tears we cried, Longing to keep you at our side. How we loved and missed you so, And weren't ready to let you go, But it gives us comfort to know, Within the twinkling of our eyes, You entered into paradise. A place with beauty beyond measure, Eternal happiness and treasure, Where you have no more pain or tears, Nor sorrow, worries, and fears.

Although, for now, we are apart, Your precious memories live in our heart, Until God calls us each to heaven's door, Where we'll be reunited, forever more. I NEVER SAID GOODBYE I never said goodbye to you, it made no sense to me. I only say goodbye, to those I'll never see. One day I'll hold your hand again; in my heart I do believe, that death is not the end of life; it's just a short reprieve. I never said goodbye to you, instead I said "I love you". As you departed on your journey to a place where life is new. I held your hand and kissed you. Your leaving made me cry. But in the end, I know I'll see you again... So I never said goodbye.

Today I left my loved ones and as I go I pray, Lord don't let them grieve,

because I've died today.

Let there be no wailing echoing the halls, the same halls that held laughter, and answers to my calls,

I pray they all take comfort, accepting the true way, and listen when I tell them these three things today.

Time on earth's a fleeting glimpse of elegance to be, just a tiny speck of light, there's so much more to see,

Love will be forever, a promise that will last so love me more than ever, now my time with you has past.

And last of all remember the glowing love to be, when our eyes meet once again, for all eternity

If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, So don't you ever cry. The love that's deep within me, Shall reach you from the stars, You'll feel it from the heavens, And it will heal the scars.

In Gods care you rest above, In our hearts you rest with love, Memories of you are ours to keep, Our words are few but our love is deep.

ront of Headstone: In Loving Memory; What we keep in our memory is ours forever Back of Headstone: “In God’s Care” God hath not always promised skies always blue Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through; God hath not promised sun without rain Joy without sorrow, Peace without pain. But God hath promised strength for the day Rest for the labor, light for the way. Grace for the trials, help from above, Unfailing sympathy, undying love. ‘Inner Thoughts’ Although his body’s laid to rest, and his soul has upward gone, in each and every one of us, his love lives on and on.
You taught all that knew you what courage meant And have shown us an example in death as you did in life. God give me strength in my life without you.
