 server
 and
 some
 of
 the
 printers
 of
 the
 
faculty
 of
 informatics,
 resulting
 in
 the
 changes
 highlighted
 here:

 on
 USI_LASER

 staff

 be
 able
 to
 print
 on
 any
 printer.

1.Modify
 printer
 se0ngs
 (MAC

 Linux)
These

 steps
 you
 can
 follow
 to
 update
 your
 settings:
1) Access
 your
 local
 cups
 via
 browser
 on
 http://localhost:631
2) Click
 on
 the
 Printers
 tab
 
3) Choose
 the
 printer
 to
 modify
 (e.g.
 USI_MFP_BW)

4) Select
 Modify
 Printer

5) Select
 Windows
 printer

 spoolss”
 
 (as
 in
 the
 picture)

 Linux:
 “Windows
 printer
 via
 samba”
6) Correct
 the
 old
 connection
 uri
 according
 to
 the
 printer
 details
 provided
 at
 the
 
beginning
