• understand the transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0.
• be familiar with several Web 2.0 tools including Scoop.it, Smore, Blendspace, and more.
• recognize educational uses for the tools.
• create Web 2.0 tools to use in the classroom.

Setting the Purpose for the day’s session
• From Web 1.0 to 2.0
• Ask attendees what Web 2.0 tools they have used
Instruction
Demonstrate Web 2.0 tools for attendees including:
• Scoop.it
• Bundlr
• Smore
• Blendspace
• Padlet
The demonstration will focus on ease of use and application in the classroom. The teachers will be shown
examples of each tool.
Work
Teachers will select one of the tools demonstrated in the session and then begin to create one they could
use in their classroom.
Closing
Teachers will share their tools via Padlet, which will be shared with all attendees.
