Ignatian Volunteers, aged 50 and greater, make a 600 hours/year commitment to service and to reflection on those experiences. * Worked with 15 staff members and a 23-member national Board of Directors to create and manage a budget which grew from $400,000 in 2003 to $850,000 in 2010. Instituted and monitored budgeting at local levels as part of the larger organizational budget. * Led strategic planning, fund development, vision setting, outreach and communications strategy. * Grew IVC from initial 9 regions to today's 16 by clarifying critical success factors. This led to closing 2 regions, expanding 2 others into 4, and adding 7 new regions. Reshaped staffing models to accommodate growth. * Restructured national office to meet gaps, setting national standards, developing volunteer numbers and fundraising goals, and providing an annual curriculum, a best practices manual, and common materials for recruitment and fundraising. * Renamed and rebranded the organization logo, look, and publications. * Developed more efficient organization by generating tools (database, common bank, finance and budgeting systems) and skill development sessions for staff. * Created new entities (Regional Councils) to increase local visibility and funding sources. * Doubled revenue, supporting IVC's growth by expanding number of and attention to individual donors, doubling the amount of support from foundation and board sources.
