Project Scope Management •

Project Scope Management includes the processes required to ensure that a project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully. Project Scope Management is primarily concerned with defining and controlling what is and what is not included in the project.



Scope Management means:

1.

Constantly checking to make sure you are completing all the work

2.

Not letting people randomly adding to the scope of the project without a structured change control system

3.

Making all the changes fit the project charter

4.

Defining and controlling what is and what is not included in the project

5.

Preventing extra work or gold plating

1.1 Project Scope Management Plan Project Scope Management Plan Project Name: Prepared By: Date: 1.Describe how project scope will be managed: Team work which is lead by the project manager using available resources with suitable utilization insures activity completion within time & budget.

1.Assess the expected stability of the scope of this project (how likely is to change, how frequently, and by how much?) Rarely change orders that be assigned by the owner and most properly in the internal finishes.

3. How will scope changes be identified and classified? When a change is ordered by the owner the contractor has to release an RFI from to identify and classify the change order in magnitude & time impact.

4. Describe how changes in project scope will be integrated into the project: The change order form will be assigned in the list calculated in the extra costs and time impact in the schedule.

Project Scope Statement For: NSGB Project Project Acceptance Criteria: Contract Document that consists of specifications, Measurement, Payment, B.O.Q., General and special conditions. Project Constrains: NSGB Structural finishes & internal finish have to be delivered after 1.5 year from project start. Land escaping & external certain wall have to be delivered at last 6 months Location constrain the project is about by neighbored buildings

Project Assumptions: The Steel Bars will be calculated on the rate of 4500 L.E., per ton the whole project duration. The Cement calculated on the rate of 900 L.E., per ton the whole project duration. The finishing material (Marble, Granite, Aluminum, ……..eta.) change in their prices will not exceeded the limits of positive or negative ten percent Initial Project Organizations: 1. Project Deliverables: Key finish project delivery for a Complex The building consists of (3) three underground floors used as a car park and of (9) nine over ground floors for the bank offices. The main facades overlooking Champoleon Street and northern passage shall be of curtain walls and Kasr El-Nile movie pictures and Southwest side, shall be of metal cladding walls.
