Corporate environment
To ensure that the corporate gets adequate return from the student in terms of the
money and time they spent on them during the training so that there is a mutual

exchange of experience and learning

of the student and make a match for final job offer later, if they deem fit.

12. In case the student has to take leave of absence, he / she will have to take permission
from the organization and the faculty guide before they proceed on leave.

course of their training. In case of malpractice, the student shall be duly penalized.
15. Once the company is identified, students must communicate to the faculty guide through
the Moodle page news forum link, created for the individual student for the purpose. This
must be targeted to be done, before the students leave the campus for their study.
16. Students are to prepare three possible project topics in consultation with the guide. This
may be preferably done, even before they join the organization, by discussing the project
ideas in advance with the company identified, if feasible.
17. One topic to be finalized by the student after discussing with the company officials
concerned.
18. Students must convey the contact details (Company name and address, name of the
person, e-mail, mobile, company phone) of the company guide to the faculty guide, who
is identified to provide them guidance in their work in the organization, as soon as they
report to the company for the work through e-mail or phone. These details are to be
provided in the first report to be uploaded in the Moodle, as well.
19. Once these details are provided, faculty guide must contact the company guide and
establish communication periodically to ensure that the student is progressing on the
work assigned to him / her.
20. Weekly progress report is to be submitted to guide through Moodle. Weekly report should
state clearly with the headings: (a) Tasks and activities done (b) Tasks pending to be
done (c) Progress being made (d) Any other information
21. A certificate of attendance and company certificate should be obtained from the
organization, before returning to the college campus, as a proof of the successful
completion of the training and the same should be incorporated in the project report.
