A resident of the district in which he shall be elected for at least 1 year immediately preceding the election SECTORAL REPRESENTATIVES TERM: 3 years to begin on June 30 ELECTION: 2ND Monday of May RE-ELECTION: 3 consecutive terms NUMBER: twenty percentum (20%) of the total number of the members of the House of Representatives including those under the party-list. 1. a natural born citizen of the Philippines, 2. a registered voter, 3. a resident of the Philippines for a period of not less than one (1) year immediately preceding the day of the election, 4. able to read and write, 5. bona fide member of the party or organization which he seeks to represent for at least ninety (90) days preceding the day of the election, and is at least twenty-five (25) years of age on the day of the election. 6. In case of a nominee of the youth sector, he must at least be twenty-five (25) but not more than thirty (30) years of age on the day of the election. Any youth sectoral representative who attains the age of thirty during his term shall be allowed to continue until the expiration of his term.

Filipino citizens; 2. actually residing in the barangay for at least six (6) months, 3. who are fifteen (15) but less than eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the election, and 4. who are duly registered in the list of the sangguniang kabataan or in the official barangay list in the custody of the barangay secretary. An elective official of the sangguniang kabataan must be: 1. a Filipino citizen, 2. a qualified voter of the katipunan ng kabataan, 3. a resident of the barangay for at least one (1) year immediately prior to election, 4. at least fifteen (15) years but less than eighteen (18) years of age on the day of the election, 5. able to read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect, and 6. must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude." ARMM REGIONAL ASSEMBLY TERM: 3 years to begin on September 30 ELECTION: 2ND Monday of September RE-ELECTION: 3 CONSECUTIVE TERMS NUMBER: The Regional Assembly shall be composed of Members elected by popular vote, with three (3) members elected from each of the congressional districts. (1) A natural-born citizen of the Philippines; (2) At least twenty-one (21) years of age on the day of the election; (3) Able to read and write; (4) A registered voter of the district in which he shall be elected on the day he files his certificate of candidacy; and (5) A resident thereof for a period of not less than five (5) years immediately preceding the day of the election. SECTION 39 RA 7160 Section 39. Qualifications. (a) An elective local official must be: 1. a citizen of the Philippines; 2. a registered voter in the barangay, municipality, city, or province or, in the case of a member of the sangguniang panlalawigan, sangguniang panlungsod, or sangguniang bayan, the district where he intends to be elected; 3. a resident therein for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the day of the election; 4. and able to read and write Filipino or any other local language or dialect. 5. Candidates for the position of governor, vice-governor, or member of the sangguniang panlalawigan, or mayor, vice-mayor or member of the sangguniang panlungsod of highly urbanized cities must be at least twenty-one (21) years
