Review: I bought this as I play keyboards and guitar and didn't want to buy (or carry!) another amp on live gigs. The
theory is that the Keyboard amp is acting like a small PA so the modelling aspect should be truer than trying to put the
signal through a guitar amp. This appears to ring true. Although there are a lot of death metal patches. patches 1 and 2
provide a decent Roland JC120 and 59 Plexi sound without any tweaking.I mark it down for the fact you need to buy a
Euro plug convertor for an extra fiver

Review: Nice legs, shame about the face. At this discounted price it's excellent good effects (if not very adjustable); some
decent amp models with nice gain control; you can set up a patch for bypass and it's very transparent, so if you have a
good amp sound already it won't mess it up. Doesn't take too long to get the hang of creating and storing (but remember
that in the global settings you also need to set a master volume level). Lots of un-usable patches but easy to create good
ones and replace them. Tuner not bad. BUT poor pedal and imprecise footswitches, and a lag between patches. This sound
engine in a pro quality carcass would be very stage-worthy. Also come on DV247 I live in UK provide a proper 3 pin AC
adaptor (and NB it is AC, so a DC won't do).

Review: its OK for a cheap pedal. its plastic be careful how you tread on it. the foot switches are very sensitive. the swell
pedal is so light you think it might break. EFFECTS are ok. but editing them is a faff. not the best navigation Not logical at
ALL. however it is cheap £20,00 you cant go wrong. Good delays. low noise, with noise gates too. distortions are too in
your face but you have to tweak them to sit well in the mix. pedal dynamics are very sensitive, and because of its light
weight its too easy to over-emphasize effect too quickly. BUT in the end you get what you pay for. AT THIS PRICE
ABSOLUTE BARGAIN. well pleased despite shortfalls.

Review: Great little product! This pedal offers so much in terms of functionality and for £25 is an absolute steal. My first
multi effects pedal, although i've been playing guitar for 15 years and have used effects a lot in the past. With a little
tweaking it is capable of producing some great sounds. I would recommend this product 100!

Review: Great value for money. I paid less than £25. Up to now I've only tried the presets and most of them are very
usable. I bought this for home recording use and probably won't gig with it as the construction is a little lightweight. but for
this price I'm not complaining.

Review: I am a music teacher and have recommended this particular ever since it came out years ago. I knew it would be
good quality and an alternative to the Line 6 Pod with the added bonus of a pedal. Immediate set up with great sounds.
You don't have to faff around like on other more expensive models. I just wouldn't recommend it for 'heavy boot stagestomping'! For that you'd need something with a solid steel case able to take it. My students have happily been using this
for many years.

Review: I have tried many floor pedals, most were far far more expensive and complex than this one. Behringer are on a
winner with their products. Yes they are made in China and no you cannot say that all the components are as sturdy as
one would like, but, the sound quality is in the realms of excellence and with care should offer years of service. Tops for
sound quality and value for money. All you need now is for someone really famous to endorse them. Cheers from Terry

Review: Bought from dv247. Lowest price on the net. Quick delivery too. V amp is ideal in my opinion for the amateur
guitarist playing or recording at home. Good features and better than a dozen pedals cluttering up the place.

Review: I'm an old'un who was just looking for a way to play guitar through headphones without using an amp. Stumbled
upon this little beauty on offer at dv247 and thought I'd give it a go. Still learning, but it's simple enough for even a
dinosaur to understand! At the price this really is a brilliant bit of kit. Pros value for money, range of effects, build quality,
ease of use, excellent dv247 service. Cons eu plug.

Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor
If a lack of money and floor space is all that's been standing between you and a home recording studio full of the finest
vintage guitar amps and effects pedals, get ready to love the Behringer V-Amp 3 multi-effects processor. This red rocker
comes loaded with 32 amp models, 15 speaker cabinet models and 16 classic effects. But that's only the beginning— you
also get the UCA222 USB audio interface and free energyXT2.5 Compact recording software.
Turn Your Home Into a Hit Factory—In Seconds.
Hook the Behringer V-Amp 3 effects processor up to your computer using the included 1/4" TRS-to-RCA cable and
UCA222 USB interface. Connect V-AMP 3 Phones output with the stereo line inputs of UCA222, and switch its direct
monitoring function on. Then connect the UCA222 USB cable to your computer. You can monitor the signal with the
UCA222's headphone jack. (This is also a great way to jam along with the MP3's on your computer). From there, the
amazing energyXT2.5 DAW (digital audio workstation) makes it easy to manipulate your audio and MIDI files, turning song
ideas into stunning CD or web-ready recordings. The energyXT2.5 software includes its own multi-FX processor, built-in
synthesizers and a drum machine, both of which can be accessed by any controller keyboard, such as the UMA25S or UMX
series, or programmed in step-write mode. To learn more about energyXT, or to the demo, visit http://www.energyxt.com.
energyXT2.5 Compact Recording Software - Behringer Edition
If you're ready to take your projects to the next level, XT Software's energyXT2.5 is just the trick. This amazing DAW
(digital audio workstation) makes it easy to manipulate your audio and MIDI files, turning song ideas into CD or web-ready
recordings. energyXT2.5 includes built-in synthesizers, which can be accessed directly via an external controller or
programmed by step-write mode. There's even a built-in drum machine and internal multi-FX processor.
Any Classic You Like
The Behringer V-Amp 3's 32 amp models are organized into four groups: CLEAN, BLUES, METAL and ROCK. Just twist the
dedicated dial to plug into unbelievably authentic simulations of the greatest British and American tube amps from the
1950s to today. You even get models of uncommon—yet renowned—boutique tube amps! When you select an amp
model, a speaker cabinet model is automatically selected. But if you'd prefer a different model, just go to EDIT>CABINETS,
then use the BANK UP/DOWN buttons to navigate through all 15 options.
Just like on an actual guitar amp, you've got a three-band EQ, GAIN, REVERB, VOLUME and MASTER VOLUME dials. By
holding the TAP button, the TREBLE dial becomes a PRESENCE control. This enables the adjustment of a high-frequency
filter that can add or remove a "shimmer" from the V-AMP 3's tone.
Top Tone—In Full Effect
The V-Amp 3 gives you flanger, chorus, compression, delay and 12 other beautiful digital effects to apply to your sound.
Adjust the effect's level in the mix via the EFFECTS dial. To adjust effect parameters, you can rhythmically press the TAP
button to alter delay times or LFO speeds, or hold down the TAP button and twist the EFFECTS knob to access e.g.
feedback or depth. By using a MIDI pedal, such as the Behringer FCB1010, you can access an additional Wah Wah effect.
You can adjust the filter characteristic by entering EDIT mode, selecting the DRIVE menu and turning the EFFECTS knob
while holding the TAP button.
Presenting the Presets
All of these elements have been combined into 125 different presets divided into 25 banks, accessible through the BANK
UP/ BANK DOWN buttons. Within each bank, you can press buttons A through E to explore its different presets. You can
also create and save your own presets. Start by selecting a preset, then making any changes you wish: amp, EQ, effect,
etc. The preset LED will begin to flash, indicating that the V-AMP 3 is ready to save your settings. To do this, hold the
preset button down for about two seconds. Once the LED stops flashing, you have saved the modified preset. On top of all
this, the V-AMP 3 also features a built-in tuner and noise gate. In essence, it's a Swiss Army Knife for the home recording
enthusiast or gigging guitarist who can't seem to settle on one amp.
Stunning in the studio, the V-Amp 3 features several configurations that make it an invaluable asset in the studio. Access
the configuration menu by pressing the B and D buttons at the same time. Then use BANK UP and BANK DOWN to select a
configuration.

When using headphones, the V-Amp 3 will switch into Studio Mode 1 (S1). This stereo mode works well for both
monitoring and recording with effects, amp and speaker modeling. It doesn't apply the additional three-band EQ to the
signal, but most recording programs—like energyXT2.5— have their own EQ. In Studio Mode 2 (S2), the V-Amp 3 sends
a signal with amp and speaker simulation, but only the right output has effects. You can either record both left and right
outputs to separate tracks, or record the "dry" left output while monitoring the right output.
Stellar on Stage
The V-Amp 3 has three live configurations. When performing live with this device, you can either run it to an amp on stage,
run directly to the mixing board, or both. Live Mode 1 is the best choice for running the outputs directly to the mixer,
because it applies amp and speaker simulation, effects and an additional 3-band EQ.
Use Live Mode 2 to run the V-Amp 3 into the effects return inputs of 2 different guitar amps. This configuration does not
feature speaker simulation, allowing the amplifier's natural speaker sound to go unaltered. In this scenario, the amps would
be mic'd on stage to get the sound to the house speakers, and having a dedicated monitor would be less important. In Live
Mode 3, you can send the left output to an amp's effects return for onstage volume, while the right output sends signal to
the main mixer for inclusion in the main house mix. Also note that you can press the TAP key while turning the GAIN knob
to adjust the input sensitivity to match the output of your guitar's pickups. If the CLIP LED lights, the input's sensitivity
should be reduced.
Veni, MIDI, Vici
The V-Amp 3 effects processor comes fully equipped to fit right into a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) setup. It
can be controlled in real time from a computer, or via a MIDI foot controller during a live performance. Its MIDI connectors
are international-standard 5-pin DIN connectors. You will need dedicated MIDI cables (not included).
The MIDI IN jack receives MIDI controller data. It can be adjusted in EDIT mode by pressing the A button and then using the
arrow keys. MIDI OUT/THRU sends data to a computer. You can transmit both preset data and parameter changes. Some
people even use the V-Amp 3 as a remote control for parameters of their DAW or VST instruments, which is more handy
than using the mouse alone. If set to MIDI THRU, the Behringer V-Amp 3 does not send its own MIDI information, but
passes on the signal received at the MIDI IN connector.
So Much Sound, So Little Hassle
It's hard enough finding another virtual guitar amplifier with this much versatility, let alone one as economical as the V-Amp
3. This go-anywhere, do-anything wonder will leave you reeling in your own creativity, with cash to spare for other gear
you'll need along the way to becoming a sonic titan both live and in your home studio.

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
I've owned the earlier model V-amp 2 and was thrilled with the sounds, but I bought that one used and unfortunately, it
was already on it's last leg. I procrastinated for some time to replace it till one day, it was no longer available.
I was devastated.
That was about 2 years ago.
When I found out that a V-amp 3 was developed, I wasted no time in getting one.
The footswitch from the old unit seems to be compatible. The dimensions are the same, so I can also use the old case.
The only difference on the outside is that what was blue is now red.
There's some new amps added to the line-up too; and some of them sound ANGRY.
Close your eyes and you swear you're standing in front of a wall of 4x12s, playing a high-saturation tube amp with inyour-face overdrive one second, and through a pre-CBS Fender the next!
They captured the tonal qualities of all the amp and speakers down, so it truly is like having a collection of amps without
breaking the bank.
The only thing is: unlike the old unit, the instructions are pretty vague and if I didn't own one in the past, I probably would
be frustrated by now. The old unit had some very useful presets and it hinted at what artist it was supposed to sound like.
For example: "Street w/o Name" = U2, "Highway to Hell" = AC/DC, "Still Got Blues" = Gary Moore. and so forth. The Vamp 3 has presets, but nothing like the predecessor did. I'm glad I kept the manual for the older model, as all the editing
procedures and parameters seem to be the same. The biggest difference between old and new seems to be the addition of
the UCA222 USB interface. Since I don't intend to connect the unit to my computer, I probably won't have much use for
this device.
If you're unfamiliar with the unit, hang in there. It'll be well worth it once you figure it out.
The V-amp can be used live, but it truly shines in recordings.
Now I can walk into a gig or studio with a wall of Marshalls, Boogies, Twins and everything in between in my backpack!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
First of all, bare in mind that I own a Digitech RP1000, a Line6 POD HD500, a lot of stomp box pedals and 4 amps (2 of
wich are all tube), so I have an idea of what a "good sound" is supoused to be.
I found this unit to be amazing sounding and quite easy to find the tone you are after, once you are familiar with its
interface. It takes a ´lil bit of practice and patience to get used to it tho, so bare that in mind. I recomend you the full
operation manual in PDF from their website, for the one that comes printed with the unit lacks some details that you may
find useful. Now, there is something I particulary don't like about this unit, being that it doesnt allows you to put an
overdrive (or boost) pedal/effect before your guitar signal hits the amp simulation, causing a certain "lack of power" when
you dial an distorted amp, and thats definitely something you would want when dialing a high gain for a metal tone, but
thats easily fix by using an overdrive pedal before the actual unit. For example, I have a Behringer TO800 stomp box pedal
(TS808 copy), and I use it infront of the unit, and it gives me the "power" or "extra bite" that I find this unit lacks. So if you
happen to have any overdrive pedal, then this unit is definitely worth checking out, ´cause it can (and will) get you any
tone you want, anything from blues, all the way up to death metal. Totally recomend you try one of this bad boys, you
wont be disapointed.

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :

I have owned this effects processor for about two years. I purchased this Processor after extensive research and trying
out more expensive models. I use this for home/ studio recording and it has served me pretty well. It is extremely light
weight - even a small child can easily carry it with one hand. At times I have kept it ON for four to six months and it has
had no issues (I wish it had an intuitive ON/OFF Switch). The power cord is NOT a conventional regular wall adapter, as it
has many pins. Please set aside 30 - 45 minutes to read the manual on the day of purchase, as this product needs good
understanding of the combination of buttons to change the settings. There is a separate REVERB Knob as well as REVERB
Configuration which is awesome! There are also MIDI, CABINETS and NOISE GATE Configuration settings which is
extremely useful. The sounds library is comprehensive and sound/tone I get from this amp are fantastic. It comes with
USB Audio codec module UCA222 and I can record this pretty well in my Ubuntu Linux or Windows 8. There are 25 SOUND
BANKS, where each BANK can have separate SOUND SETTING. However, there is no Foot Switch with the package
(Propogates BANK UP or DOWN) which needs to be purchased separately. My only complaint is that there is no separate
DELAY knob. Thus I cannot use DELAY simultaneously with AUTO-WAH or TREMOLO, although the effects knob has presets
for CHORUS + DELAY, FLANGER + DELAY, PHASER + DELAY. However, for the price it is worth every penny.

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
I dig guitar gadgets, pedals, amps, you know. Well obviously this is a Pod inspired processor and its fun to jam on and even
record tracks. Some of the effects are great and some are lacking. The distortions to my ears can have a harsh sound so
you need to tweak till you get the best sound. Like I said, for the money, its pretty cool to have around for when you can't
crank your amp up or wanna record some tracks without too much setup effort. It comes with a Behringer USB interface
which was nice. I gave the interface to a friend since I have a great one already. The included software was also a nice
addition but I'm usually using Pro Tools. The V-Amp 3 is interesting, I also wish it came with the carry case the V-Amp 2
came with.

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
I was tired of not being able to get different sounds with the same old distortion on my Spider IV amp so I decided to try
out a multi-effects pedal. I read good reviews about it so I thought I might as well give it a shot.
I was horribly disappointed with this product. First of all, the user's manual for this is nearly useless and does almost
nothing to help first time users figure out how to use this thing properly. It also has no explanation whatsover on how to
use the U-CONTROL UAC222 thing that connects the effects to the computer.
Secondly, as far as I know, there is no way to use this thing unless you use a program like Cubase with ASIO driver which
takes exclusive control over your sound card while you use it. This means you can't play along to songs you stream online
(ie: youtube).
Even when I was able to monitor the sound through Cubase, all the effects I tried out were quite bad. I spent a few hours
trying out each preset and even manually creating my own effects, but either the sound is just too digital or there's way
too much static even when I'm not playing. Using the noise gate helps with the static but it lowers the overall sound quality
as you play.
The last bad thing about this thing is that there is no on/off switch. The only way to turn it off is the unplug it. This is just an
enormously big pain to do because the power adaptor is really hard to plug in to begin with. Unplugging it to turn it off just
means you have to waste time trying to turn it back on the next time you want to practice/jam.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
Gripe if you wanna, be a snob if you must; I just want to work, and this tool allows it!
Used the V Amp 2 in the studio for 4 years now; literally on all the time. Problems? Not one, period. The update sounds
crisper, feels more real. Two parameter adjustments in effects, better. Reverb tails pleasing. Great swiss knife as always!
Job well done.
According to the previous model.
Thank you, Uli!

Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
I would highly recommend this to any pro or amateur musician. I play semi professionally, and do not even use a guitar
amp on stage any longer. I run stereo out from the V-Amp and pan left right, amazing sound, amazing sustain. Love it
All these features in such a small frame. Gotta love Behringer

The only thing I would say here is, I own 2 - V-Amp Pro Rack Mounted and this V-Amp 3. I have had some issues on the
rack mounted Vamps with 1/4" input jacks on front, they seem to be made a little cheap.
I have used many different mfgs processors, this is by far the best value period.

Behringer V-Amp 3
Comments about Behringer V-Amp 3 Guitar Multi Effect Processor :
This was the first time I have ever used this product in a live situation without a guitar amp. I just ran it direct to the mixing
console! I was very (VERY) impressed. I had no time to set with the V-amp 3 to dial in any sounds so I had to go with the
presets and it didn't take me long to find some very useable sounds. All I can say is that it sounds great and very
responsive. It's not a amp and speakers on stage but it comes pretty close. It sure beats lugging a heavy amp to a gig lol!
I was looking for anyone else who had used something like this as their only live sound. If you are looking for different
sounds and great effects this is it and the price is right!
