Founded by Robert Baker in 1982, R Baker (Electrical) Ltd has enjoyed substantial growth ever since. In 1990 the company expanded into our own purpose-built premises in Liverpool, a site which allows great scope in manufacturing an extensive range of electrical equipment for clients with highly contrasting needs. We believe our success comes from our determination to understand each and every customer request we receive. We can then use this understanding to find a solution that is affordable, flexible and that clearly suits your business. We manufacture transformers from 18VA up to 1MVA, and have facilities to repair or rewind transformers up to 10MVA.
We supply and repair AC & DC power supplies for a wide range of applications and specifications dependent on the requirements.
Our team maintain and repair all electric motors, supplying and repairing AC/DC motor rewinds, overhauls and main field rewinds.
We offer an on demand repair service which includes systemisolation, removal of items, pick up, repair, replacement and reinstallation.
We manufacture and repair 6, 12 and de-dross linear motors for use in the glass industry with the option of control systems.
We repair large, water-cooled, high frequency production heating coils and also manufacture reactors and chokes.
We manufacture and repair marine and industrial fuse boards which all meet BS 88 and IP52 to IP66 .
We provide PCB design and an excellent build service for help with developing projects and re-engineering obsolete items.
Our staff are experienced panel builders, who can offer a complete solution to your control requirements.
We are specialists in the manufacture and repair of electrical coils and can design, modify or reverse engineer to your specification.
We supply and repair frequency converters, and design,modify or reverse engineer to your specification or to any agreed design features.
