How do we begin to measure? The glass or the tilt? Do we overflow or just let go? I’ve begun to dig deep, So deep I decided I’m not digging anymore, Great expectations laid me to waste, Great tidal waves overwhelmingly took shape, What am I fighting for? When there is no fight at my front door, While the next level is going to be reached no matter how I go about it, It’s inevitable, I can’t be damned forever, My hands are tied, Tattooed and grinning, There is so much on my side, Must I always look at the empty? The less than? The outside? It’s the inside I must reach, Pulsating out the purity of energy, And if not this life than the next, I’m well on my way, No matter how I look at it, I’m ok,
Sitting, standing, lying down, Whatever the moment calls for, Today I’m sure, I don’t want to be angry anymore.
