Reply on Proposed Chiller Yard

Reference to AEB673/06/IJ/IM/019/09 Proposed Chiller Yard Layout for the above project please find
below our comments:
1- Centralized LPG tank yard shall be relocated away from the chiller yard. Diesel tank for genset
which are not shown in the layout provided shall not be located near the chiller yard.
2- Since the quantity of secondary chilled water pumps reduced to 6 nos., pump room dimension
may also reduce to have more space for the chillers. Minimum distance between chillers should
be 2.5m.
3- Properly sized pipe trenches with grating cover for chilled water pipes shall be considered from
chiller yard to risers.
4- Contractor shall take into consideration the changes in chilled water riser diagram for shifting the
chillers.
