Verse for Unit 4 Galatians 5:22-26

 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (v.22)  Meekness, temperance : against such there is no law. (v.23)  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (v.24)  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (v.25)  Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. (v.26)

Describe the tomb Jesus was buried in.

It was a garden tomb, hewn out of the side of the mountain.

Who donated Jesus’s tomb?

Joseph of Arimathea donated the tomb for Jesus’s burial.

3. What day did Mary Magdalene and other women come to the tomb to anoint Jesus’s body with spices? The women came to anoint Jesus’s body on the Sunday, the first day of the week. This is why we worship on Sunday.

What did the women find when they arrived at the tomb?

They found an empty tomb, Jesus’s empty grave clothes, and an angel telling them that Jesus was risen. 5. Which two disciples came running to the tomb after hearing Mary Magdalene’s message? Peter and John came running to the tomb after hearing Mary Magdalene’s good news. 6. Who did Mary Magdalene think that Jesus was when He first appeared to her?

At first, Mary Magdalene thought that Jesus was the gardener.

Why could she not touch Jesus at that time?

Mary Magdalene could not touch, or hug, Jesus because He had not ascended to the Father yet. Her flesh would have corrupted him.
