I have never been elected to public office. 1) Should you be elected, what areas would you like to change …:

The biggest challenge for the City of Amherst is for the city to have enough money to pay for the services to its residents to keep those services up to date and at the same quality that the residents currently enjoy. So it becomes very important to maximize the city’s revenue. To that end, we will examine entities that are not paying taxes and correct that. Furthermore, it is imperative to be a good steward of the public monies. To that end, we will handle those matters in a transparent and conscientious manner. 2) … why should voters vote for you?:

It is a combination of my education, training, and experience. In college, I studied public administration and business management. I attended law school at Cleveland-Marshall and have been a practicing attorney in Amherst for the past 10 years. I am a small business owner. I have been involved in several organizations with regard to budget and finance administration. I am experienced in budget preparation, financial oversight, business management, and many other qualities that lend themselves to being an effective city treasurer.
