Role of LCA Mentor
1. The mentor's primary role is to guide the mentee through the various stages of the program giving advice/guidance on specific issues like coaching methodologies and any general concerns regarding the overall Life Coaching course assessment. 2. Attend six sessions (45 - 60 min) with your mentee of which two are the mentee's 2nd and 11th triad where they are the coach and give feedback to the triad. . 3. The balance of the sessions (4) are to be utilised by mutual agreement and can include: - coaching of the mentee by the mentor - coaching of the mentor by the mentee - question & answer sessions - general assistance regarding program issues eg research project/critique/setting up a business etc 4. Complete the Mentor Report for each session with date/time/topic covered and submit to the LCA at completion of relationship with invoice.Send to mentee after triad for growth and development 5. As a mentor encourage your mentee to commit to the requirements in completing the program 6. The mentor must liaise with the LCA when issues arise which cannot be resolved by the mentor/mentee . 7. Visit the mentor site on the LCA website regularly to update yourself with any developments / communication. We encourage you to use the notice-board facility for communication with other mentors/general information and sharing.

Contact your mentor to advise of your 2nd triad date (where you are the coach), send "About me" form to mentor and discuss the guidelines of future engagements/connections. 4. Complete the Mentor Report and submit to the LCA together with the balance of your coaching assessments. 5. It is the responsibility of the mentee to maintain contact with the mentor until all six sessions are complete. 6. The mentee must liaise with the LCA if matters or concerns arise which cannot be resolved by the mentor/mentee. 7. Advise mentor of your needs and requirements timeously in order that the necessary time can be set aside to deal with any concerns or issues.

Role of LCA
1. Advise all parties of their roles and responsibilities. 2. Appoint mentor for each mentee prior to Weekend Residential and advise mentee of details of mentor including mentor bio. 3. Advise mentor of name, email and phone number of mentee allocated to mentor. 4. Maintain mentor site / forum on LCA website with information / updates and responses to questions etc. 5. Review roles & responsibilities on an ongoing basis. 6. Review Mentor Reports and give feedback to mentor on performance particularly any remedial action if required. 7. Manage Mentor development activities by ensuring teleclasses are held on a regular basis addressing general development needs. 8. Manage any conflict that may arise between mentor and mentee.
