San Diego Public University: HVAC System Rehabilitation
Location: San Diego County, California Situation:
The science building for this university had a failing HVAC system, even though the building was less than 20 years old. The black steel pipes experienced water corrosion and MIC build-up, which caused leaks. The school wanted the pipes rehabilitated during spring break to reduce disruption.
Solution:
Nu Flow’s most skilled Nu Line technicians completed this project within the short time frame. After the 6"-wide pipes were cleaned, epoxy was applied using existing access points. No destruction was made to the building. This barrier coating will prevent corrosion, MIC, leaks and other common failures.
