LANDMARKS

•San Juan is one of the cities that comprises the National Capital Region of the Philippines. •It is the smallest city in the region and the country in terms of land area. •The city is known for being the site of the first battle of the Katipunan - the Filipino Revolutionary organization–against Spain in 1896.

Pinaglabanan Shrine is located on N. Domingo corner Pinaglabanan Street in the city of San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines. The shrine has a statue of a woman supported by two children, holding up a bolo, or a machete. This was built to commemorate the opening salvo of the 1896 Philippine Revolution, when the Katipuneros lay siege to an arms storage facility, called the almacen, that belonged to the Spanish Colonial Government. It is this statue that is depicted on the city's seal.



San Juan City Hall is located in the middle of Old San Juan in the capital city of Puerto Rico. It is located in front of the Plaza de Armas and next to the Puerto Rico Department of State.



The City Hall was built in stages from 1604 to 1789. The building has an inner courtyard and is open for tourists to visit. It also showcases small art exhibits from time to time.











Is the administrative building of San Juan City. The City of San Juan (Filipino: Lungsod ng San Juan) or simply San Juan is a city in Metro Manila in the Philippines. Before the creation of Metro Manila, it was part of Rizal Province. Currently the smallest city in the region and the country in terms of area, San Juan is one of the smallest among the cities and municipalities in the metropolis, second only to Pateros. This was the site of the first battle of the Katipunan, the Filipino revolutionary organization, against the Spanish colonizers.



Greenhills Shopping Center is a shopping centre in the city of San Juan in the Philippines. It has over 2,000 stores, and espouses an 'indoor-outdoor' theme, with the Shopping Center having the appearance of several distinct buildings (some separated by a main road) that are all interconnected through pathways and bridges.
