and an innovations centre. Playgrounds are modern and attractive and the large sports field is well maintained. Our full size gymnasium is used extensively for school and community activities. Somersfield is a co-educational school for children from the ages of 3-16. Somersfield’s Children’s House, Montessori Programme was implemented in 1991, and the Secondary level, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme was introduced in 2001.
Admissions Somersfield at a Glance
Somersfield Academy aims to prepare students to be global citizens, independent, life-long learners who acquire the problem-solving skills and knowledge necessary for educational success. Teachers encourage self-expression and creative thinking as well as respect for and understanding of different philosophies and cultures. Somersfield has close to 500 students representing over thirty nationalities with 60% of them having Bermudian connections. The campus is welcoming, beautifully landscaped and has seen extensive building development in recent years. Classrooms are spacious and well equipped and specialist rooms include science labs, a library, two computer labs, art rooms We invite all parents/guardians who are interested in enrolling their child or children in Somersfield to contact our admissions department on [email protected] or by calling 239-3340. Parents will be invited in for an interview and a tour of the facilities. Potential students will be academically assessed and interviewed by our admissions team.

Somersfield is a co-educational school for children from the ages of 3-16. Somersfield’s Children’s House, Montessori Programme was implemented in 1991, and the Secondary level, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme was introduced in 2001.
Admissions Somersfield at a Glance
Somersfield Academy aims to prepare students to be global citizens, independent, life-long learners who acquire the problem-solving skills and knowledge necessary for educational success. Teachers encourage self-expression and creative thinking as well as respect for and understanding of different philosophies and cultures. Somersfield has close to 500 students representing over thirty nationalities with 60% of them having Bermudian connections. The campus is welcoming, beautifully landscaped and has seen extensive building development in recent years. Classrooms are spacious and well equipped and specialist rooms include science labs, a library, two computer labs, art rooms We invite all parents/guardians who are interested in enrolling their child or children in Somersfield to contact our admissions department on [email protected] or by calling 239-3340.
