PRESCHOOL AND DAY CARE
Caring for children since 1977, the
Berry Patch Professional Child
Care Center (670 S. Laclede Station
Road, 314-962-4499) is licensed, and
has an accredited early childhood pro-
gram for ages 2-6. Age appropriate ac-
tivities, low staff turnover and patient
guidance help children grow and fulfll
the potential, which is theirs.
Come grow with Brentwood Con-
gregational Church ECC (2400 S.
Brentwood Blvd., 314-962-0537) serv-
ing children since 1985. Preschool edu-
cation lays the foundation for a child’s
school success.
Founded in 1982, Faith Academy
of Montessori (44 N. Gore, 314-961-
1411) is housed in a 100-year-old train
station. The director and assistant
director have guided this program to-
gether for over 25 years, providing an
environment where children thrive.
The Montessori method is based on
the belief in children’s creative po-
tential, drive to learn and right to be
treated as individuals. Specially de-
signed materials invite children to
engage in learning activities of their
own choosing. Under the guidance of
trained teachers, children learn by
making discoveries with these materi-
als. Meanwhile, they develop concen-
tration, motivation, self-discipline, in-
dependence and a love for learning.
Children ages 18 months to 5 years
enjoy a nurturing, developmentally-
appropriate, Christ-centered envi-
ronment at Glendale Lutheran
Church Early Learning Center
(1365 N. Sappington, 314-966-3220
x103). Small classes provide children
with quality care and individual atten-
tion at the child’s pace. Call for session
times. Now enrolling.

cation Center (10305 Concord School

districts. A nationally accredited,
award-winning school, LECE offers
part-day and full-day preschool pro-
grams, school-age before and after

velopment, with individual and group

ers and professional staff supervise
