October 28, 2015
At approximately 10:30 am on October 28, 2015 the New Hartford Police
Department and New York State Police executed a search warrant at the
Word of Life Christian Church located at 3354 Oneida Street in New Hartford.
Investigative leads resulted in a new search warrant for the building to
further the investigation into the death of Lucas Leonard and the felony
assault of Christopher Leonard.
It is anticipated that the search will take the remainder of the day. No other
information will be released at this time.
